Locomotive Services Limited Class 47 No. 47593 'Galloway Princess' is seen arriving at its destination with 0Z12 the 14:06 Bristol Barton Hill to Saltash route learning run on Tuesday 14th May 2019. The loco would then reverse and head to Paignton for an overnight stay.
In early 2019, ahead of the recent rush on PSVAR vehicles, Lewis Travel added a pair of ex Oxford Bus Company Scania K360 Plaxton Panthers to their fleet. FSU 637 (ex LF61 OXF) carries a light blue livery with LS Travel names and was seen in Guildford today, 10th January 2021, whilst working an Andover-Whitchurch-Overton-Basingstoke-Guildford-Woking service.
Had the slow moving LS&M excursion train been a bit faster it would have made for a great over/under. I'll still take it.
The cramped London Country garage in Park Street West in September 1971. Service reductions due to loss of support by Bedfordshire CC saw it's closure in January 1977.
