LS&M 46 - a perfect tourist railroad engine with side rods - powers a late season charter over Minnesota Highway 39. Getting sun on the north side of this line is hard but this charter provided a great opportunity. The only thing missing was a CN train overhead.
A Meridian Southern Railway Freight Train heads back to Meridian, MS. from Waynesboro, MS. as they pass through Stonewall, MS.
Lindsay has a fantastic gaze. Lighting was a ring light front, speed light behind. I triggered with the Phottix Odin to get High sync at 1.2

The only shot I ever got of one of LS&I's RS3's was at the old Presque Isle engine terminal in Marquette in October 1976.

This was shortly after the low-cost 'Harrow Buses' had started up. Clearly they were short of double-deckers.
Until I saw these pictures I never knew that a single-decker had ever worked on the 140!
