I was lucky to be on the (wet) terrace of a cafe at the time of this performance. I am now in the piazza at the Phuket FantaSea show, on the terrace of a little cafe at the venue enjoying an ice cream. A bit of a commotion attracted me to leave my seat and look out from the balcony to see this colourful show in progress. The sheer colour and fast pace were a delight. Of course, this is nothing like the main Fantasy of a Kingdom show which will take place inside the auditorium at this venue- I have spoken about it in some detail in earlier captions. (see previous pictures), but this relatively simpler show with all the colour and razzle dazzle was very pleasant as well. (Phuket, Thailand, Oct/ Nov. 2019)

This is a 3 layer display for a custom vehicle. We created controllable lighting that contains the colors and motion effects exactly to the layers that require them. We can have any layer be any color, and even assign fades, chases, strobes, and other effects to the layers. The 3 layers of acrylic, spacers, trim, and face bezels were all machined in house. This was a piece for SEMA in Las Vegas.

This is a 3 layer display for a custom vehicle. In this shot, you can see how the layers stack and how the light travels throughout the sheets. We created controllable lighting that contains the colors and motion effects exactly to the layers that require them. We can have any layer be any color, and even assign fades, chases, strobes, and other effects to the layers. The 3 layers of acrylic, spacers, trim, and face bezels were all machined in house. This was a piece for SEMA in Las Vegas.
These projects use either single color or multi color programmable lighting to create the appropriate effect for the project. In some cases, the lighting is ambient room lighting.

A street performer dressed in a dog suit gets some attention from a kid. This is in the busy Dotonburi district in Osaka, Japan. I am actually on the Ebisubashi Bridg, below Dotonbori's famous Glico running man glow sign, which you will see soon after this. (see subsequent pictures later in this album). The Ebisubashi Bridge is the focal point of Dotonbori. It is a popular meeting spot, an essential photo stop for tourists, and the site of wild celebrations when local sports teams are victorious. Detailed notes about the Namba- Dotonbori district of Japan appeared earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). (Osaka, Japan, Apr/ May 2019)

I think this may be Chinese rather than Kanji, but the "BBQ" and the meat skewer works for Westerners! There are many restaurants in Osaka where you can cook meat at counter barbeques, sliced by a chef to order. The speciality is Kobe beef. Namba, Osaka.
