This is Leicester's St. Margaret's Bus Station. Now Closed for Redevelopment only outer frame remains, No Roof, Walls or Windows,

True Thailand experts know that Pattaya’s real, gritty identity pulses deep within the side alleys. This frame delivers a raw evening scene tucked away in a soi off the notorious Soi Buakhao. A mobile Thai street food cart sizzles under a bright LED light strip, while a customer in a black dress stands waiting, checking her smartphone. In the background, a combined massage parlor and beauty salon is dominated by a massive advertisement framed by glowing pink neon signage. To secure this sharp low-light sequence, I relied on my documentary workhorse: the Sony Alpha 7 IV (ILCE-7M4) paired with the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II at 53mm, f/4, 1/160 sec, and ISO 5000. Any seasoned Pattaya expert knows the city's truest stories emerge past the 2:00 AM closing time. This raw frame documents a quiet beer bar tucked away in a side alley off Soi Buakhao during the low season. The striking red-and-white LED "Kisses Bar" marquee and pink neon signs wash the empty tile steps and red barstools in a heavy, high-contrast glow. Inside, a few remaining staff members and a lone guest check their phones in the dim light as a worker in white walks off the floor. To lock down the intense neon saturation and dark asphalt details without losing crispness at ISO 4000, I relied on my Sony Alpha 7 IV and the razor-sharp Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II. IE is everywhere.
Here's the classic Internet Explorer "page cannot be displayed" error message, as displayed on the big electronic billboard at the East Palo Alto Ikea store.
For you non-IE users, it reads "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings,"
The brightness of this image or something made the display jumpy, which is why it's hard to read. Other ads (the ones that actually loaded :-) displayed fine.
My favorite part: the scroll bar at the bottom.
"Vancouver Novel" by João Loureiro, of São Paulo, Brazil, one of the permanent Vancouver Biennale installations, is located at 3474 Point Grey Road.
The installation features an LED screen in front of a house with a hedge – a ubiquitous Vancouver landscape feature for single family houses that marks the physical boundary between public and private space.
Situated in one of Vancouver’s most exclusive waterfront neighbourhoods, the installation cycles through a series of 29 sentences (6 new sentences added in 2021), which weave a poignant narrative of daily life.
Inspired by the Vancouver Biennale’s 2014-2016 exhibition theme “Open Borders/Crossroads Vancouver,” João Loureiro created Vancouver Novel to explore the shifting boundaries between public and private life in an era marked by social media and reality TV.
The snippets of domesticity, slipping by turns banal and ominous, underscore our ever-growing appetite for updated information and continuous content.
Intensely personal and yet broadcast for the world to see, Vancouver Novel asks us to consider the narrowing chasm between our public and private lives.

Merry Christmas, May have gone overboard this year, using this old Bright Tech Developments Bus Display. But the Blue, Red and Orange LED's go together very well.

This is a shot of the famous CITGO sign that sits near Fenway Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox. The sign has a very interesting history and is considered one of the iconic landmarks of the Boston skyline.
That is the Harvard Bridge in the foreground with the red streaks from the moving traffic on top of it.
Have a look at it large, and the details and lights on the buildings really show up.

On April 20, 2019, I visited Mulberry, Florida in Bone Valley, which is part of the Phosphate Mining Region of Central Florida (aka: Polk, Hillsborough, Manatee and Hardee Counties) are/were all rich in Phosphate Ore.
First, I visited the Phosphate Museum, located at the Corner of State Road 37 (aka: S. Church Ave.) and SE 1st Street, one block South of State Road 60 (Canal Street). The Mailing Address is:
101 SE 1st Street
Mulberry, FL 33860
Later I Photographed the Mulberry City Hall along State Road 37 (aka: S. Church Ave.) between SR 60 and SE 1st Street. The Mulberry City Hall Mailing Address is:
104 South Church Avenue
Mulberry, Florida 33860
These Four Photographs show the Mulberry City Hall and a Mural Painted on one side of the building. Mulberry was in the heart of the Phosphate Mining Mining Region until the depletion of Ore caused mining to move further South and East.
You can see my photographs of the Cranes that scoop up the Phosphate Ore at the following URL's:

An eyecatching way to advertise a shop for lease. This is where the Crumpler bag shop in Melbourne once stood, now cleared and illuminated by this rather fascinating sign.

The Glico Running Man sign is an iconic symbol of Osaka, Japan, located in the Dotonbori district. First installed in 1935, this massive neon billboard has undergone several updates to reflect the evolving times. It features a triumphant runner crossing a finish line, symbolizing health and energy, aligning with the Glico confectionery company's ethos. The vivid LED lights illuminate the figure, adding a dynamic visual to the urban landscape at night. Situated above the Dotonbori Canal, the sign is a favorite backdrop for photos, with its bright colors reflecting on the water below. The current version, updated in 2014, showcases state-of-the-art LED technology while retaining the original design's timeless appeal. The surrounding area is lined with similarly eye-catching advertisements, creating a unique visual experience that defines the neighborhood's aesthetic. The Glico sign remains a cherished part of Osaka's cultural identity, drawing visitors eager to capture its glow and significance.
A view of Times Square taken by me on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Times Square is a major intersection in Manhattan, a borough of New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The Times Square area consists of the blocks between Sixth and Eighth Avenues from east to west, and West 40th and West 53rd Streets from south to north, making up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan ~ Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On March 8, 2018, I went to the Strawberry Festival to view the colorful lights and to get a large scoop your own Strawberry Short Cake at the Booth that St. Clements Roman Catholic Church Runs every year in the Stone Building near the Lost & Found Caboose.
This Photograph shows some of the Food Joints and other Vendors at the 2018 Strawberry Festival.
Apparently, Belle City Amusements is the prime Carnival Contractor and they supply most of the Rides, Games and Food Joints on the Carnival Midway. The Strawberry Festival had a vast number of Rides and Food Joints and I'm sure Bell City Subcontracted other Carnival Vendors to fill the venue; either that, or the Strawberry Festival Board itself hires other Carnival Vendors to supply Rides, Games & Food Vendors
SALE, SALE, SALE in giant white-on-red text on LED advertising billboards on the facade of the H&M Store in Times Square - NYC, at night. Pedestrians and a food cart are visible on the sidewalk in the bottom left of the photo.
The vibrant heart of Osaka’s Dotonbori district comes alive with the dazzling Glico Running Man sign, an iconic symbol of Japanese pop culture and local pride. Towering above the bustling canal, this LED-lit marvel features a victorious athlete crossing a finish line, a metaphor for perseverance and achievement that resonates with Osaka's energetic spirit. Originally installed in 1935 as a neon masterpiece, the sign has evolved alongside the city, with its current version upgraded to high-resolution LED in 2014.
Positioned alongside an array of equally captivating advertisements, the Glico sign overlooks Ebisubashi Bridge, a favorite spot for tourists and locals to snap selfies and soak in the electric atmosphere of Dotonbori. The area itself is a sensory feast, offering tantalizing street food, vibrant nightlife, and the perfect stage for Osaka's renowned humor and hospitality. The sign, a celebration of Glico's legacy as a confectionery giant, has transcended its commercial roots to become a cultural icon, drawing millions of visitors each year.
The juxtaposition of tradition and modernity makes this site uniquely Osaka. The surrounding area is steeped in history, with Dotonbori dating back to the 1600s when it flourished as a theater district. Today, it retains its dramatic flair, amplified by dazzling signage, lively crowds, and the constant hum of activity. Whether you’re marveling at the Running Man at night or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the canal, this landmark is a quintessential Osaka experience that blends nostalgia with innovation.
