I loved the glitz and the colourful costumes of this stage show on the Viva Bangkok stage on the piazza outside the Phuket FantaSea Fantasy of a Kingdom show in Phuket, Thailand. Of course, this dance is nothing like the elaborate show I would soon witness- I have spoken in much detail about this earlier in this album (see previous pictures), so I will save you the commentary. I am on the terrace of a little cafe at the venue, and although the rooftop location gave me a nice vantage point, free from human heads coming in the way, that spot also meant that I could not move around freely to take pictures from various angles- thanks to the restaurant tables, other tourists- all of whom stood transfixed- and the many puddles of water on the terrace, thanks to a recent shower. (Phuket, Thailand, Oct/ Nov. 2019)

A small red LED banner welcomes you to the Millennium Station commuter rail terminal in Chicago.
For such a major railroad terminal, it often seems very hard to figure out how to get into Millennium Station, which is entirely underground. Part of the challenge is that the surrounding streets and ground have been extensively redeveloped over the years, including some of Chicago's complex multi-level streets. This has left Millennium Station with a hodgepodge of access points, including scattered surface stairways, access from the underground Pedway, elevators and escalators from the interior of surrounding buildings (such as the Prudential buildings and Illinois Center buildings) and street entrances that were once at ground level but are now covered by one or two higher street levels.
I think this is a stairway inside the Illinois Center but it could be a stairway from South Water Street or Lake Street; it's hard to remember. Photo was taken August 2022.

Another fair Thai maiden using yo-yos to lighten up the atmosphere in the piazza outside the main theatre at the Phuket FantaSea. Of course, this was not an act as such, just a lovely Thai lass playing with these two yo yos, smiling sweetly at visitors to welcome them to the show, and to pose with them if requested. The show itself is called Fantasy of a Kingdom, and is one of a kind- you can’t really say you have been to Phuket unless you have been to the Fantasea. I have spoken about the main show earlier in this album (see previous pictures) so I will spare you the details. Photography inside the show venue is of course strictly prohibited and you are forced to check in any kinds of recording equipment, including cellphones before you enter the auditorium. This is a 3 layer display for a custom vehicle. We created controllable lighting that contains the colors and motion effects exactly to the layers that require them. We can have any layer be any color, and even assign fades, chases, strobes, and other effects to the layers. The 3 layers of acrylic, spacers, trim, and face bezels were all machined in house. This was a piece for SEMA in Las Vegas.

This is a 3 layer display for a custom vehicle. In this shot, you can see how the layers stack and how the light travels throughout the sheets. We created controllable lighting that contains the colors and motion effects exactly to the layers that require them. We can have any layer be any color, and even assign fades, chases, strobes, and other effects to the layers. The 3 layers of acrylic, spacers, trim, and face bezels were all machined in house. This was a piece for SEMA in Las Vegas.
These projects use either single color or multi color programmable lighting to create the appropriate effect for the project. In some cases, the lighting is ambient room lighting.
