Interesting fact: Unlike incandescent bulbs, LED Christmas lights do not burn constantly. They flicker on/off many times per second. This photo illustrates that.
I forgot to unset the 2-second delay and pitched the camera forward to see what was wrong. While looking at the LCD screen, the camera took this 1/4 second shot.
While the CFLs and daylight in the picture are fluid, the LEDs on my deck are staccato.

Manufactured and donated by Shaantech KEPZ Karachi gifted to 500 families of Bhako, Kharoro and Vekasar Villages. These villages are only couple of miles from the India border, Nagarparkar area of Thar desert. Majority of people are Hindus. No roads into these villages. We had to use 4-Wheel Drive UNDP vehicles.

I first saw these "thignamajigs" during the Milenyo brownout streak at my aunt's apartment. Aside form being infinitely better than candles, at 50 bucks a piece, they're the best "instant producy photography" light sources that my money could buy. LED's rock!!! Anybody know where I can get these cheaper? Or in bulk? I'd sure as hell like to get me a whole box of!!!
These headlights have true carbon fiber wrapped bezels, trimmed to fit Vettesthetics.com "Hammerhead" LED units, which have been upgraded with Nichia 50ma superflux LEDs for the brightest possible output. The chrome projector rings, as well as the chrome reflector bowl behind the clear side marker lens have been painted in 2 stage Gloss Black to match the painted Hammerhead units.

Google even op "CVG Mistral" en "Panama" en je ziet dat deze boot daadwerkelijk levens heeft gered. Wij hebben er bewust voor gekozen om de buitenkant niet te schilderen en de robuuste 'look' aan te houden, het maakt andere schippers voorzichtig bij bruggen en sluizen… ;-)
