Simple demo of the LED driver, and the look of two different types of diffusers.
Also shows the results of my first real attempt at SMD skillet reflow. (woot!)
(wish I could get the lighting/exposure to both be long enough to hide the scanning but short enough so the light from the LEDs doesn't blow out the image)
NAI signals with GE GT1 LED U-turn arrows. These are very rare to find.
The arrows are not the standard design, because these signals were installed before there was one. This is one of several intersections in Ocean City with u-turn traffic lights.

I first saw these "thignamajigs" during the Milenyo brownout streak at my aunt's apartment. Aside form being infinitely better than candles, at 50 bucks a piece, they're the best "instant producy photography" light sources that my money could buy. LED's rock!!! Anybody know where I can get these cheaper? Or in bulk? I'd sure as hell like to get me a whole box of!!!

The LED-light-morphing Uniqa Tower in Vienna.
The new 75m tall Uniqa Tower on Vienna's Danube Canal is an ellipsoid building structure that becomes an illuminated showcase at nighttime. The customizable LED light installation was meticulously designed and installed by Licht Kunst, a lighting design company located in both Berlin and Bonn. The movements and colorways, called "Twists and Turns," are the works Holger Mader, Alexander Stublic and Heike Wiermann, digital artists from Germany.
