We were are so very grateful for this incredible honor which we are receiving on behalf of all our incredible volunteers. The generous donation we received from Dunkin Donuts will be used to help pay for our cleanups in 2015. As an organization staffed entirely by volunteers and funded solely through donations every penny counts and every penny we receives goes right back into our efforts to create a healthier and cleaning environment and community for everyone!

"John Long is the president and founder of Clean Bread and Cheese Creek, an organization whose mission is to restore the natural beauty and improve the environmental quality of the historic Bread And Cheese Creek, as well as other local streams an parks. Long serves as the Bread and Cheese Creek Stream Captain where he leads the efforts to restore these areas through education, and by the mobilization of volunteers for monitoring, restoration and advocacy. Additionally, Long is a huge supporter of animal welfare and the Humane Society and is often found raising money and donating his time to their fundraisers as well."

The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan in 1678. This story was based on a series of dreams Bunyan had when he was jailed for preaching the gospel. This book has been translated into more than 200 languages, and has never been out of print. Christian, the central character in the story, journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. Along the way he faces many dangers and obstacles. This story closely resembles many of the life experiences Christians have pre and post conversion on the road of life, the pitfalls and dangers faced in the lives of many Christian believers who are on the same journey.
This movie is loosely based on Part II of The Pilgrim’s Progress where Christian’s wife ( Christiana ) follow in the footsteps of her husband, the plot of this movie incorporates some of the events from part 1 and presents present modern day scenarios into this classic story.

Nine Virginia Guard Soldiers and one D.C. Guard Soldier, two Airmen from the Camp Pendleton-based 203rd RED HORSE Squadron and nine U.S. Coast Guard Sailors train to conduct airlift operations Sept. 16, 2014, at Fort Pickett, Va., during the Unit Movement Officer Course. The weeklong course welcomed 20 service members and aimed to prepare them for the challenges of moving massive amounts of equipment for deployment or large-scale training events. The course, taught by the Virginia Army National Guard's Fort Pickett-based Directorate of Logistics at the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, runs Sept. 15-20, 2014. Air movement assets were provided by the Charlotte-based 156th Airlift Squadron, 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard.

S 317 leads the train on its return arrival to Dungog after the whole train was turned via a triangle.
They are working a special train to Dungog 250 kms north of Sydney NSW on 13 February 2010 to launch the restored NSW loco 4204.
The three GM locomotives were from 3 different railways. 4204 ( leading) is one of the first six NSW diesel electric passenger diesel locomotives built in 1955-1956. There were earlier shunting and mixed traffic diesel locomotives but these were the first GM locomotives.
NSWGR 4204 has just been restored to operation by the preservation group Lachlan Valley Railway and it leads the train painted in its NSWGR livery.
The second locomotive is the oldest operating main line diesel electric locomotive in Australia GM 10 a 1500 HP A1A-A1A GM in 1service in June 1952 for Commonwealth Railways which operated a 1100 mile route between South Australia and Western Australia much of this running through desert and across the infamous Nullarbor Plain which had very poor water supplies for steam locomotives.
The third locomotive is the youngest of the very similar trio: Victorian Railways S class 317 which entered service in 1961. The two trailing locomotives are owned by Southern Shorthaul Railroad and are used in " hook and pull" commercial services.

Gov. Kay Ivey leads the pledge of allegiance in the company of longtime friends and others as her hometown of Camden in Wilcox County celebrates Kay Ivey Day at The Shed, just outside of Camden, Ala. on Friday evening June 30, 2017. Gov. Ivey said she was humbled by the large turnout on the rainy evening, as her hometown honored their native daughter with the large celebration that featured homemade barbecue, dozens of homemade cakes and small-town fellowship with people from across Wilcox County and further. She received a key to the city, a proclamation from Wilcox County Commissioner Bill Albritton, and other gifts from key leaders. Gov. The Sound of Thunder is BEARS club (British European American Racing) motorcycles premier event in New Zealand. Held at Mike Pero Motorsport Park (Ruapuna Racetrack) near Christchurch since the early 80's it is still attracting good entries. This year the event was fortunate to run both days after a change in Covid levels after the first day. These photos are from the Saturday which was well run, stayed on programme but still felt laid back with no serious incidents. Please enjoy the photos.

An accident involving 155 was preventing trolleys from entering the terminal, and no word was given to the drivers about it, so trolleys piled up for an hour before a 4X4 arrived to push them around the accident. 130,156,146 and 133 are behind 148, while 126 and 124 were ahead of it.

The two make up some convoluted plan regarding a killed refugee girl, and that the brain should already be placed in her grave. Honestly, I didn't pay full attention here (was busy taking pictures ;-) ), but one thing is sure: Kerrick was the one of us, who spent the most time with the refugees, so if the story was about them, he's the one most likely to know something about it.

leads L133 on the CSX LCL Subdivision in Glencoe, KY.
Built in 1996 as CR 4107 to CSX 802 to CSX 4592, traded to NS for an SD40-2, became NS 7219.
Late in their CSX careers, they were stored more than they were active. After receiving some much needed attention, they were released for service and began showing up on a regular basis.

The Tudor Pull is a ceremonial event for Thames Watermen's Cutters which is organised each year by the Thames Traditional Rowing Association (TTRA).The cutters escort the Thames Royal Shallop 'Jubilant' rowed by members of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, from Hampton Court Palace to the Tower of London to deliver a 'Stela' to the Governor of the Tower for safekeeping.
The 'Stela' is a piece of medieval water pipe made from a hollowed tree trunk which stands on a base of timber from the old Richmond Lock and which bears the coat of arms of the Waterman's Company.
The 'Stela' is handed over to the custody of her Majesty's Bargemasters at King Henry's Royal Palace at Hampton Court to be carried by river to the Tower of London accompanied by His Gracious Majesty King Henry VIII and his Queen in the vanguard of the Royal Procession on board the Royal Shallop 'Jubilant'.
The cutters are rigged with full ceremonial canopies and flags and rowed with four oars by fully-liveried crews. In keeping with the traditions of the Watermen's Cutters, passengers are carried.
