Florence a terminé son pastel hier soir durant le cours à la MJC. Très contente du rendu et de ses progrès. Moi aussi. Ca a toujours été un rêve pour elle d'apprendre à dessiner. Elle se rend compte qu'elle est capable de le réaliser. Je suis très heureuse de l'accompagner dans cette activité.

Prevost Le Mirage XL. definitely '70's but don't know the year. when someone peaked under it to see the hold the owner said, "oh, i forgot that was in there." He was referring to the 1912 (?) Cadillac engine he'd purchased.........:-)

Seen walking up 7th avenue towards Central Park... AFTER I just ate Cheesecake. Sadly, I couldn't partake in this custardy goodness, but I couldn't resist the photo op... they were just beautiful.

En photographie, le terme "Rabbit Hole" veut dire, faire un traitement de "post production" sans fin.
C'est facile d'embarquer dans un "Rabbit Hole" avec l'iPhone. Pour faire la présente photo, j'ai fait 90 minutes de manipulations, utilisé aux moins 7 applications, jouer avec les courbes de luminance, la désaturation, flash synthétique, etc. Bref, je me suis tellement lâché "lousse" que je ne pense pas être capable de refaire la même image "from scratch"...
La photo a été prise au centre-ville de Montréal, juste en face de la place Ville-Marie.

The "Rabbit Hole"
In photography, a Rabbit Hole means to do a never ending post production session.
The original image is below.
It is so easy to get in a Rabbit Hole with the iPhone. To produce the current image, I spent 90 minutes shifting from one app to the other, playing with luminance curves, desaturation, synthetic flash, etc... I have used at least 7 apps. I let loose and don't think I could reproduce the same recipe if I was asked to :-)
The picture was taken downtown Montreal, on a street adjacent to the Place Ville-Marie.

Nadia (left) and Nathalie Thibodeau are identical twins from Montréal, Québec. Nadia is the lead singer in an alternative rock band whilst Nathalie prefers the art of figure skating. They both love music, however, and are constantly found at various musical venues vying for autographs. :P
Nadia is Truly Me #37 customized with hazel eyes. Nathalie is Girl of the Year 2008, Mia St. Clair.
