I know this is super wide, but I had my back up against a wall and the vendor requested I get the whole space in. And yes, that handle on the kitchen draw is really bugging me! Also, this is mostly flash, very little ambient. Reason being is that I am now limited with the amount of exposures I can do. Full disclosure, I did not blend this image, I only took the shot and made some final adjustments to the final blended image. Any feedback on the overall look? Too flashy?

Built under orders by Kitchener to supply the British Army in the war against the Mahdi in the late 19th century, when I visited the area between Wadi Haifa and Station 10 (where the Sudanese railroad branches), the railroad was disused. An employee, proud in his uniform, told me that trains would start again the next day. Given how many of the tracks were still covered by sand, I was not optimistic: however, the railroad did start again (months rather than hours later) in 2013.
I'm so in love with this house... please excuse my gushing about it. I spent a good bit of time today unpacking and organizing so I was happy to finally get to the point where I felt like I could photograph it!
Jeff came up and installed the new countertops today. Once we paint the walls and put up the backsplash the kitchen will be complete!!!!
I am so happy with the way this turned out. The color is the perfect deep charcoal color i wanted. The accents he added with the shells, rocks and broken glass are just interesting enough without looking like a theme or a design. The angled corners on the 3" "monolith" on the island are just what we needed.
The space looks beautiful and, more importantly, is more functional than the old space. Thanks, jeff!!!
