I decorated this beautiful bedroom with Circa's new collection called "Waterdown" It is a gray velvet with plum accent piping to match the plum throw pillows. The wood coffee table adds another warm texture to the room. The room comes together with the well designed chevron weave area rug. Also I added from another collection of theirs the "Divine Boudoir" Chest of Drawers in Silver with Decor. I finished off the room with beautiful Plants and a sofa table.

I used a red clay wall color to keep that warm look flowing from the bedding...

A detailed view of the living room, designed by Thad Hayes. He placed a pair of Pierre Jeanneret slipper chairs near the living room fireplace, beside a slate-topped low table designed by Paul Evans and Phillip Lloyd Powell. The floor lamp is by T. H. What to do with this room? - post fm aug 8th/2007

new post:

Can you believe I was chosen by a local magazine to have my room renovated by one of the top 5 star architects of São Paulo?

Let me start fm the beginning. I signed up for a contest by sending this photo of my room. Since the very 1st beginning I told my kids that this one I would won. I do not know why but I was so confident. There are so many difficult things happening to me lately that I thought: “since I like so much decoration, I deserve this prize!”

This Monday I got a call fm the magazine saying I was one of the selected readers. Of course I did not believe and called back, but It was/is true. Tomorrow they go to my place to take the “before” pics, one of myself to be shown in this weekend magazine.

Bottom line : now I believe.

This stairway was such a big focal point in the entry, so I added some random lanterns and a little "wow" at the landing to really play up the drama factor!

This week I will be showing you the interior of The Modern Villa Ferreira Home by Diamandis, Architect Summer Diamandis, and my Eclectic Style of Designing to make it warm and inviting.

The Living Room.

I decided to give it an Asian feeling by bringing in some Asian touches in the red, black, and white walls, the asian style chairs and console table.

The amazing designed modern Ariev sofa, the Armondl planter with bark, and the beautiful Winter Gray Rug, from Sources designer Vincent Priesley, ( he has the best imagination for design) have that touch of Asian modern.

The coffee table. by 3D Republic designer Katelyn Barom, has the wood to blend with the room and the clasic look to give it the balance.

The Beautiful Flower arrangement with the touch of red, by Atrium designer Catta Grizot, add that accent color needed.

The modern adobe fireplace brings the warmth in.

Adding the art to finish the room.

Seeing is believing so come on over and see it in person.

I work on contributions so please help to keep our project going.

The bridge Home By Architect Tobias Convair has all rooms done with warm tones of wood and stone textures that make a house a home.

These textures are continued in the master bedroom.

Here he has the beamed wood ceiling and the beautiful stoned wall of amazing rich warm colors.

I brought in a mix of pieces here.

Convair's wonderful 4 poster bed and end table in the dark rich wood tones which add to the rooms warmth.

Also his Corbu Chaise in the black and white hide add to the feeling.

Placing a beautiful brown stripe rug with an Elk Hide over it gives the texture change to the floor.

I added some art deco and asian accessories like the Lunaria picture and vase(from one of my favorite Designers Kaerri) and the frame, wall lamp, wall fan and clock bring in more excitement to the room and gave it the final touches it needed.

Finishing off the room with sheers to add some privacy from the outside when needed.

Come see this amazing furnished home for yourself.

As well as two others out to view.

I am always available to decorate your home.

The Villa Ferreira by Architect Summer Diamandis, of Diamandis Homes.

I decided to decorate the master bedroom very simply. There are two beautiful, ceiling to floor, glass doors on either side of the room. These lead to terraces that give you views of everything around as well as lounge areas. I did not want to block the view so i put sheer curtains ceiling to floor on both. and you can hang out on them. In this case, you need to be able to have comfortable walk space to go from one to the other.

In the bedroom I choose to keep it simple with natural colors and just a pop of navy blue.

I placed a desk in the corner to write a letter or sit with a lap top and a cup of coffee.

The beautiful art deco chair, by one of my favorite designers in SL Cherelle Capra of Cira Designs, gave it that other warm color and style needed.

The final colors came in the painting, which brought it all together.

I am a big trunk collector, and of course, I added one as an end table here.

Drop by and see it in person.

No matter how small or large, it is greatly appreciated.

You are giving to a good cause.

I have designed the Dining Room

In the Palomar House with a more Gallery type of look.

This was a very large room and decided it would be a wonderful place to display works of Art.

Here you will find not only beauty in the head chairs and table i chose, but in the side chairs by Britt Beck, of Munick. His french rival design lends itself to beauty in design as well as comfort in seating.

We have to mention the Rug design by designer Catta Grizot of Atrium.

It adds the modern design which allows your eye to go with the flow of the colors and design.

This helps create the mood I envelop in the home.

The three Pedestals with Sculptures are ones I had to use. They are from Park Place, by Deann Defaux. They add a certain class to this act.

I finished off the room with many other art pieces.

But these are special to me:

The wonderfully designed 5 light Pendragon Candlesticks in Gold w/ Ivory Candles on the buffet, are being first seen here! They are from Laminak, by Casey Tripsa an amazing creator.

And I have one of my pieces that I sell "the Horn". It is a staple in my homes because of the beauty it gives where ever it is displayed.

Come by and see all the rooms and how they flow together with my Eclectic Style of design.

Please Vote for me!

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hugs

Madison

Hello, gorgeous unclassifiable color! (Robert Goodwin, the designer, calls it "a brown with a lot of blue in it.")

Photo from House Beautiful, October 2007.

Pretty fab for a Doubletree, don't you think? Design by Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe; photo from nickeykehoe.com.

Today we go upstairs to the loft bedroom in Architect Tobias Convair of Convair's EDelweiss Chalet.

I decided to bring most of the furniture in from creator Britt Beck of Munick.

I love how Britt does the old world style so well.

I used his Beautifully simple dark wood Essen Dresser, antique mirror, Emilla collection candle sticks and finished it off with Catta grizot of Twilight's wood picture frames. Mixing all these elements together to add character to this area of the room.

I went on by adding another tone of wood using Municks double door distressed oak cabinet with such rich design detail.

Then i went to the Bed area where i decided to change a bit and bing in a medal element.

I used an iron Bed in a white painted finish. with soft tones in the bedding and rug.

The end table, Lamp, books and amazing room divider, are also from Munick.

I added warmth with the curtains (from Twilight) and wood blinds.

Finishing off the room with a Fern plant and a dream catcher.

Hope you will come by and see this amazing Chalet in person.

We bring all this to you with your generous contributions.
