This week I will be showing you the interior of The Modern Villa Ferreira Home by Diamandis, Architect Summer Diamandis, and my Eclectic Style of Designing to make it warm and inviting.
The Living Room.
I decided to give it an Asian feeling by bringing in some Asian touches in the red, black, and white walls, the asian style chairs and console table.
The amazing designed modern Ariev sofa, the Armondl planter with bark, and the beautiful Winter Gray Rug, from Sources designer Vincent Priesley, ( he has the best imagination for design) have that touch of Asian modern.
The coffee table. by 3D Republic designer Katelyn Barom, has the wood to blend with the room and the clasic look to give it the balance.
The Beautiful Flower arrangement with the touch of red, by Atrium designer Catta Grizot, add that accent color needed.
The modern adobe fireplace brings the warmth in.
Adding the art to finish the room.
Seeing is believing so come on over and see it in person.
I work on contributions so please help to keep our project going.

I couldn't resist this grand, ornate mirror. I flanked it with sconces that operate on a pulley system. They can be adjusted up and down for different looks... so cool!

I had the diamond design put into the stained and scored concrete to really give this area some personality. The chandelier is what my husband and I chose instead of a honeymoon- we love it!

This chocolate and pink room was taken over the top by the pink vessel sink in the vanity area. I spray painted the mirror above the sink- it began as a horrible fake gilded gold... eek!

Architect and designer Stephen Miller Siegel designed the living and dining rooms at the 2008 Kips Bay Designer Showhouse. “I wanted the living room walls to be the color of limestone, and did them in Venetian plaster. But if I were trying to re-create the effect in paint, I’d use Farrow & Ball Buff because it has the warm, earthy color of stone. Do one coat and then water down the second so it looks more like a glaze. When you can see through the top layer, it gives you a sense of depth.”
The ceiling is Decorator’s White INT RM and the trim is Dove White, both by Benjamin Moore. Photo from housebeautiful.com.
The bridge Home By Architect Tobias Convair has all rooms done with warm tones of wood and stone textures that make a house a home.
These textures are continued in the master bedroom.
Here he has the beamed wood ceiling and the beautiful stoned wall of amazing rich warm colors.
I brought in a mix of pieces here.
Convair's wonderful 4 poster bed and end table in the dark rich wood tones which add to the rooms warmth.
Also his Corbu Chaise in the black and white hide add to the feeling.
Placing a beautiful brown stripe rug with an Elk Hide over it gives the texture change to the floor.
I added some art deco and asian accessories like the Lunaria picture and vase(from one of my favorite Designers Kaerri) and the frame, wall lamp, wall fan and clock bring in more excitement to the room and gave it the final touches it needed.
Finishing off the room with sheers to add some privacy from the outside when needed.
Come see this amazing furnished home for yourself.
As well as two others out to view.

This is an "after" shot of a kitchen makeover... White laminate cabinets were painted black, stainless appliances and granite countertops were added, and cork flooring was laid over the vinyl. She's a beauty now!

I had the powder room painted in black stripes, alternating flat paint and high gloss paint. (The ceiling that you can't see is silver-leafed.) The red glass vessel sink provides the "pop" against the black. In the mirror, you can see the three red betta fish hanging in sconces on the wall.
The Bridge House By Architect Tobias Convair of Convair's kitchen is a warm and cozy room for the whole family to enjoy together.
From its beamed wood ceiling to the warm textured stone wall and wide picture windows.
This room gives you the feeling of letting the outside in during the time when we all need to feel surrounded by love. So I decided this was the space anyone would love to have as their home office.
I used this space to allow the island to be where they would have family small gatherings of breakfast and lunch.
Dinner would be in the dining room.
I pushed back the walls here to make the space all opened. Placed some stools for eating around the large island so while preparing, conversation can go on.
Convair's beautiful Bauhaus style desk and chair set was perfect for this space, as well as his Mid Century Leather chairs with accent wood arms.
I placed a cigarette table between for easy placement for a drink or book.
I finished with his Noguci coffee table to add the light feeling and not take up to much space to the room.
To accent the room, I used Convair's famous retro wall clock and wood shelf.
Plants added to the warmth of the room.
