This doesn't look like a room where one would eat a banana. Maybe they're fake? Hand-painted mural by Warnock Studios. Osborne & Little Coromandel silk draperies. Design by Barry Dixon.

This is my library and office area... That "desk" is really a dining room table that I fell in love with-
Susan Steel of Fibers & Floors wanted to create a new logo and business card for her Interior Designs service company. Susan focuses on window and floor treatments and wanted something that could connect to that aspect of her business. Steel also decorates complete rooms and often deals with construction companies, so she didn't want something too feminine. Susan also wanted a more earthy color palette. This beautiful design created an excellent balance for her.

The star of our kitchen is the four foot long mystic sink. I ice this down with fruit and lemonade or champagne and shrimp or beer and veggies or whatever! It's really a fun focal point.

I had this amazing ceiling painted in the colors of the room to create a whimsical focal point. I added the niches to highlight the art, and had the hardwood inset done to delineate the area. I kept thinking: Be bold and brave, be bold and brave... :)

This game room is a funky multi-use room for family fun! Smoky gray walls with black trim and lipstick red accents create a striking space.

Usually this isn't quite my taste, but the colors here are beautiful -- I love the camel walls, the rich red and teal in the chairs' upholstery, and the play between the dark lacquered secretary and the gilded frames. Photo from Homes and Gardens, Nov. 2006.

This chocolate and pink teen room features a window seat "perch" overlooking the neighborhood. Who wouldn't love that?
This graphic bedding really pops against the chocolate walls... I added pink to the mix for a nice girly contrast.
My Arlington client wanted a dramatic formal living room. I designed and produced this living room for her. She was very pleased.
I love this room, particularly the interplay between the pedestal table and woven leather chair. (The latter is so Bottega meets Knoll, don't you think?) And that blue lamp in the background! Gorge.

This is the powder room with an 11 ft. photo gallery wall I created. It's my favorite spot in the whole house! I love to design powder rooms- they are like little jewel boxes....
Another example of Bridges combining green with red to beautiful effect. (The scan doesn't do the colors justice, unfortunately.) Here she places two convex mirrors opposite each other, something designer Jean-Louis Deniot says never to do (I’ll take Bridges over him any day!).
