Today we go upstairs to the loft bedroom in Architect Tobias Convair of Convair's EDelweiss Chalet.

I decided to bring most of the furniture in from creator Britt Beck of Munick.

I love how Britt does the old world style so well.

I used his Beautifully simple dark wood Essen Dresser, antique mirror, Emilla collection candle sticks and finished it off with Catta grizot of Twilight's wood picture frames. Mixing all these elements together to add character to this area of the room.

I went on by adding another tone of wood using Municks double door distressed oak cabinet with such rich design detail.

Then i went to the Bed area where i decided to change a bit and bing in a medal element.

I used an iron Bed in a white painted finish. with soft tones in the bedding and rug.

The end table, Lamp, books and amazing room divider, are also from Munick.

I added warmth with the curtains (from Twilight) and wood blinds.

Finishing off the room with a Fern plant and a dream catcher.

Hope you will come by and see this amazing Chalet in person.

We bring all this to you with your generous contributions.

I took this photo on one, sunny afternoon. These pink lilies were nearby my home and I walked past them for a few days, thinking to myself each time, "I need to bring my camera!" Once I did I was able to capture this image of this beautiful flower! www.joeboylephotography.com/flowers/photo/flowers-lily-bl...

No matter how small or large, it is greatly appreciated.

I have designed the Dining Room

In the Palomar House with a more Gallery type of look.

This was a very large room and decided it would be a wonderful place to display works of Art.

Here you will find not only beauty in the head chairs and table i chose, but in the side chairs by Britt Beck, of Munick. His french rival design lends itself to beauty in design as well as comfort in seating.

We have to mention the Rug design by designer Catta Grizot of Atrium.

It adds the modern design which allows your eye to go with the flow of the colors and design.

This helps create the mood I envelop in the home.

The three Pedestals with Sculptures are ones I had to use. They are from Park Place, by Deann Defaux. They add a certain class to this act.

I finished off the room with many other art pieces.

But these are special to me:

The wonderfully designed 5 light Pendragon Candlesticks in Gold w/ Ivory Candles on the buffet, are being first seen here! They are from Laminak, by Casey Tripsa an amazing creator.

And I have one of my pieces that I sell "the Horn". It is a staple in my homes because of the beauty it gives where ever it is displayed.

Come by and see all the rooms and how they flow together with my Eclectic Style of design.

Please Vote for me!

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hugs

Madison

Another example of Bridges combining green with red to beautiful effect. (The scan doesn't do the colors justice, unfortunately.) Here she places two convex mirrors opposite each other, something designer Jean-Louis Deniot says never to do (I’ll take Bridges over him any day!).

Emma Jane Pilkington's New York living room (which she designed). Ebony and marble table with leather campaign chairs and 19th-century gilded sconces.

From Vogue Living (Australia), November/December 2006.

We usually consult with the architect or builder to figure out details on their projects, especially since our surface is a standard 9/16" (15mm) thick. 3/4" is too thick for dimensional stability and heat treatment penetration by the Japanese method.

I love this room, particularly the interplay between the pedestal table and woven leather chair. (The latter is so Bottega meets Knoll, don't you think?) And that blue lamp in the background! Gorge.

This landing area really shows off the ebony stained hardwood that I adore. This is the cats' favorite perch!

Susan Steel of Fibers & Floors wanted to create a new logo and business card for her Interior Designs service company. Susan focuses on window and floor treatments and wanted something that could connect to that aspect of her business. Steel also decorates complete rooms and often deals with construction companies, so she didn't want something too feminine. Susan also wanted a more earthy color palette. This beautiful design created an excellent balance for her.

This amazing Riptide Home created by Justise Barcelos of JBC Architecture is the back drop for my living room design incorporating the inside and outside as one.

Using the jewel tones of warm blues, greens and purples and accenting them with shades of browns to golds.

This gives you the warmth needed for the contemporary feeling to be warmed up and cozy.

The lights over the bar are designed By Cherelle Capra of Circa Designs. I love her simplistic elegance in this classic fixture.

Many of the accessories such as the Beautiful outside flowing fountain with the planting arrangements, and inside flowers and plates, from Catta Grizot of Atrium.

Also the candle sticks and books from Britt Beck of Muniick, are the accents that bring everything together to make this room one you want to live inside and out in.

Today I decided to start with the main rooms(Living room & Dining room).

To me The Living Room & Dining Room are the main rooms in a home.

I am choosing some warmer tones that are not very commonly used to make this room pop.

Bringing in my Eclectic style of design using these Moroccan style sofas in a warm rich burnt orange tone with the black wood.

These will give the drama we need for the room.

I have also brought into the Dining Room a cabinet with the same rich warm tone.

I choose a 60's influenced Wall unit In my Own Designer Collection. I designed This unit for one of my real life clients to set off a wall in her NY City Apartment. And I felt it was a great piece for setting off this Fireplace wall and bringing the area into the room.

It has reflective white glass panels behind the etagere units to bring out the pieces that will be displayed.

The fireplace surround is Pieces of marble and Brass inlay.

In the Dining Room, I will be using more Artsy type pieces.

It is a huge space and can handle unusual elements.

Come back tomorrow to see my progress.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

This girly bathroom has all we could want... a chandelier, capiz shells on the windows, washed coral walls, a Louis Ghost chair, and a little plasma to watch Sparkle Josh on Design Star!!

My Arlington client wanted a dramatic formal living room. I designed and produced this living room for her. She was very pleased.
