My heart skipped a beat when I saw this picture -- there's that Oly Studio Paris vase that I love! (I'd take it and this Caribbean villa, too.) "Michael" bench and "Michael" sofas are from Tomlinson, both upholstered in pale blue linen. Bronze lantern from Formations. Design by Barry Dixon. Photo by Edward Addeo, from Barry Dixon Interiors.

A hand carved Gazelle sculpture on a curved glass cocktail table. In the background is an Ultrasuede sofa, fur pillows, faux fur blanket and a painting titled "The Storm at Cape Henlopen."

How inspiring! Ross found a pair of old shield-back chairs at Goodwill and transformed them using primer (Zinsser), paint (Ralph Lauren's Sunwashed Blue in semigloss), turquoise woven homespun silk from The Silk Trading Company, grosgrain ribbon, and a staple gun. Sisal rug from IKEA.

Mariette Himes Gomez chose two overscale, out-of-focus photographs silk-screened on Lucite by artist Seton Smith to hang opposite the mirror in this classically-proportioned living room.

Featuring Creator DeAnn Dufaux of Park Place. Her collections have given me the ability to create rooms for clients to be able to work from home and still enjoy living in any room of their home.

I used her Beautiful Mila Bed and Ottoman and coordinated them by bringing in blues and dusty pinks. They are warm rich tomes.

DeAnn's Cambridge Fireplace is one of my favorites. It has rich natural tones that also warm a room.

Another of my favorites, when you need to work from home, is her beautiful Cambridge writing Desk, which i paired with her Pebble Creek Wing Back Chair, for a comfy way to work.

There is a beautiful off white End Table by another wonderful creator here, Casey Tripsa of Laminak. I chose off white to go with the off white Curtains in the room.

Finally I finished the room by adding my own Creator pieces in my new line. A transitional Dusty rose Love seat w/animations and beautiful Black Accent Mirror. Then Blending everything all the colors and warmth I added my Asian Rug ( a must have).

Please come by and see it in person.

In this light-filled Long Island beach house, designer Thad Hayes placed a pair of Pierre Jeanneret slipper chairs near the living room fireplace, beside a slate-topped low table designed by Paul Evans and Phillip Lloyd Powell. The floor lamp is by T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings. Behind it is Gray Wood by Alex Hay.

In the foreground, the oil painting at right is by Tadashi Sato. The club chair is upholstered in ‘Cha-Cha’ from Glant’s Salsa collection. Sofa and daybed are upholstered in ‘Thick as Thieves’ by Great Plains. The carpet is ‘Bolon’ woven vinyl with ‘mole’ border, custom by Beauvais.

Designer Carleton Varney’s zeal for color and pattern is usually a bit much for my tame(r) sensibilities, but this den is a fabulous example of using super-saturated color (Farrow & Ball’s Cook’s Blue) to great effect. I’m crazy about the coffee table—it’s ‘Ames’, from Vivavi (www.vivavi.com).

Would you believe this is a Wisconsin lake cottage, overlooking Green Bay?

This is my 18 month old little boys room which features a handpainted tree silhouette and soft furnishings created by me. The main wall colour in here is "Academy Grey" (actually more blue than green).

In this North Carolina mountain house designed by Ruard Veltman, walls are painted Pebble by Pratt & Lambert and the beds are custom-made by Veltman's firm. The bedcover and curtain fabric is Jefferson Linen in Flint by Legacy Home. Louis Ghost chair from Kartell.

This is an "after" shot of a kitchen makeover... White laminate cabinets were painted black, stainless appliances and granite countertops were added, and cork flooring was laid over the vinyl. She's a beauty now!

This was a "what if" moment... I had the triangular fireplace added to the plan- when it was sheet rocked, I thought: "What if we mirrored this?!" And here it is! (Notice the reflection of the cool ceiling up there...)

In this Atlanta dining room, the client's mismatched French Régence-style chairs were stripped, stained, and covered in dark-toned linen to harmonize with the walls and trim, painted Tobacco by Pratt & Lambert. Design by Barbara Westbrook and Kim Winkler.

Totally Finished decorating #14 The Palomar.

It is a modern design by Maven homes.

The Master Bedroom was so much fun to do.

I used the same color pallet in variations of the tonal values throughout the home.

The warm green and orange jewel tones allows your eye to flow around the house with ease and gives you the wonderful warmth you want to feel in a home.

Some of my favorite creators pieces are displayed here.

I used the beautiful grey modern stone fireplace design from Kaerri, to go with the style of the house.(Kaerri Rae)and gave the texture needed.

The beautiful four poster bed and end table brought out for this event from Circa (Cherelle Capra)was chosen for its clean lines, warm tones and elegant feeling it gives this room.

The amazing chaise lounge, which is one of my staples from Laminak(Casey Tripsa) was chosen to show some transitional detail of wood and style from the modern to the softer traditional feel of elegance it gives the bedroom.

I mixed modern to Moroccan in this home to give it a some what universal feel for this event.

Come by and see it for yourself.

I think it is worth your trip.

I know it is worth your vote!

All the 14 houses are beautifully

decorated.

Drop me a note on your thoughts on my design.

Hugs

The master bedroom of Frank Roop's Boston home. He designed the bed and upholstered it in an Edelman suede; he also designed the light fixture; the shade is made of Donghia linen. The curtains are made of Montreaux velvet by Travers.

beasonhomes.com/new-construction/home-builders/ My wife and I wanted to build a new home in Denver, NC. We found some property we wanted to build on and purchased it.

I love the mix: the sophisticated furniture and the exposed ventilation pipe.

I loved Moises Esquenazi's L.A. bungalow, and was all a' flutter when I saw his Long Island house (must be tough, right?) featured in Met Home.

Esquenazi and his partner Bryan Graybill painted the kitchen's lower cabinets Blazer by Farrow & Ball. The prep sink has a view of the outside, past a jaunty staircase that seems to float without visible means of support.

The Bridge House By Architect Tobias Convair of Convair's kitchen is a warm and cozy room for the whole family to enjoy together.

From its beamed wood ceiling to the warm textured stone wall and wide picture windows.

This room gives you the feeling of letting the outside in during the time when we all need to feel surrounded by love. So I decided this was the space anyone would love to have as their home office.

I used this space to allow the island to be where they would have family small gatherings of breakfast and lunch.

Dinner would be in the dining room.

I pushed back the walls here to make the space all opened. Placed some stools for eating around the large island so while preparing, conversation can go on.

Convair's beautiful Bauhaus style desk and chair set was perfect for this space, as well as his Mid Century Leather chairs with accent wood arms.

I placed a cigarette table between for easy placement for a drink or book.

I finished with his Noguci coffee table to add the light feeling and not take up to much space to the room.

To accent the room, I used Convair's famous retro wall clock and wood shelf.

Plants added to the warmth of the room.
