Инсталляция обыгрывает тему серьезного-несерьезного, превращая привычный атрибут делового человека в элемент игры и виртуального кокетства. Цифровые галстуки возникают и двигаются вместе с посетителями в реальном времени, создавая дополненную реальность. За одну ночь инсталляцию успели удивить тысячи людей, в том числе руководство культурно-исторического центра и министерства культуры края. Технология дополненной реальности (augment reality) в Красноярске была представлена впервые.

The augmented reality sandbox is an extremely interactive and tactile way to teach basic concepts in geology and geography in a really interesting way. Any time you can introduce interactive technology into your subject matter, your ability to engage your audience immediately increases. This has been evident with the Augmented Reality Sandbox on the 2nd Floor of the Chattanooga Public Library, having received over 600 visitors in under 2 weeks of being in the public eye.
While there’s lots of potential for hard-line curriculum to be developed around the sandbox, the real and unforeseen potential exists in what the kids themselves come up with. It’s already been used as a device for digital story telling, with kids using the sandbox and its shifting landscape as a platform to develop their own short stories, entirely of their own accord.
The Chattanooga Public Library's sandbox was built by Jake Brown (pictured center) , a 17-year old college sophomore working at the library as a technology projects coordinator. Jake used open source technology designed by specialist Peter Gold of the UC Davis Department of Geology.

Interactive mapped projection at the mlove confestival 2010. Participants were able to use their mobile devices as magic "brushes" to interact with the installation. They could choose between three colors, green, blue and red. Green for growing the plant, blue for feeding the blossoms and red to burn it down.

Bright Brussels 2018
Bright Brussels is a light festival, a fascinating route through the city consisting of a dozen light installations that are artistic, interactive, playful,... and simply captivating. Bright Brussels is a free event that is open to all from 18:30 to 23:00, for four nights from 22 to 25 February.
For this edition, a massive, must-see installation is hanging in the extraordinary setting that is the Citroen garage on place de l'Yser/IJzerplein. The route then stretches over the historical heart of the city through the Beguinage - Dixmude and Dansaert neighbourhoods, from Sainctelette to Sainte-Catherine/Sint-Katelijne. Come and (re-)discover these neighbourhoods' rich architectural heritage thanks to the magic of light!
TETRO (FR) + Whitevoid (DE) - Stalactite
At the heart of the majestic structure of the Citroen building, with its clean lines, is an enormous suspended structure, floating above the visitors. It generates light motifs and complex shapes to the rhythm of the electronic music of Boris Divider. This artistic light display by Christopher Bauder is called Stalactite. It offers an immersive experience of the madness of the 21st century.

OCUBO and Telmo Ribeiro (PT) - Underlight
'Underlight' is a simulation of the aurora borealis. It combines coloured lasers, smoke machines and the wind to create lighting effects. These form a coloured curtain with the accompaniment of haunting music to plunge the audience into a splendid sound and light show.
Venue: Quai du Commerce and Parc du Quai a la Houille
Aerosculpture (FR) - Lumiere d'eau (Light in water)
What becomes of the basins of our fountains when winter robs them of their water? Are they filled to the brim with other, highly illuminated wavelengths, in the hope that a school of flying fishes will be attracted by the light and come to take possession of their banks? This is the story told by the installation 'Lumiere d'eau' with its moving, glittering lights spread over the surface of the basin and about a hundred lighter-than-air fish, caught by invisible hooks, that are lit by the colours of this imaginary water to offer us a thousand reflections moving and swirling in the wind.

Estudio Sergio Ramos (ES) - Triple jet
This installation reminds us of the need to recover the identity of our cities by valuing their diversity and plurality. 'Triple jet' uses a strong symbol with an internationally recognised graphic identity, the Mannekenn Pis, who has landed in a public place as the main protagonist of a new urban landscape.

OCUBO (PT) - Flower Power
'Flower Power' is an experimental immersive video mapping show. It is based on experimentation with the physical forces of water and gravity. It explores the aesthetic of one of the most beautiful and colourful phenomena in nature, flowers. Inspired by the colour, movement and fusion of these phenomena, the project transforms the everyday image of a flower into something magical and poetical.
Venue: Place du Beguinage
Tetro and Trafik (FR) - 160
'160' is an interactive sound and light installation that offers an intuitive instrument for exploring representation, projection and the relationship in space of shapes, colours and sound. It consists of 20 square arches, each containing eight lit segments. 160 light strips are deployed over the 60 m of the structure.

Mathilde Lemesle (FR) - Aux fenetres de Bruxelles - Appel d'air (At the windows of Brussels - Drawing in air)
'At the windows of Brussels - Drawing in air' is a light installation created for the 2018 Bright Brussels Festival. This exterior video mapping show is located on the facade of a house and plays with the features of that setting. Lighting effects are a way for visitors to rediscover the many sides of places.

Dolus and Dolus (FR): Stratum
'Stratum' is an interactive installation that uses gesture to influence a 'lit area'. Running one's hand over a capture interface reproduces it in space using layers of light. This reaction generates a visible and tangible reflection of the gesture, like an ephemeral geology of movement.

Collectif Coin (FR) - Child Hood
'Child Hood' is a cloud. Comprising a multitude of luminous balloons, it hovers between numerical minimalism and a monumental kinetic installation. It invades space. The wind rushes in between the balloons. Like the ultimate interpreter, it injects a note of chaos into a finely measured sound and light composition.

THEORIZ (FR) - Crystallized
'CRYSTALLIZED' is an immersive sculpture composed of steel, sounds and holographic images. Inspired by Bismuth crystal and built according to the laws of light propagation, CRYSTALLIZED is a mysterious, ever-changing sculpture that goes from atoms to liquid-crystal. The audience is drawn to appreciate the infinite, hypnotising lighting effects of the work from its different perspectives.

In her installation ‘Your Kidney Supermarket’ and the webproject ‘xeno.bio.lab’, Indian artist Shilpa Gupta portrays a gloomy image of a future global organ trading system where moral concerns have no place. In this candy-coloured world the organ is becoming a ware whose trade is based on capitalistic principles. The bizarre and out of control consumer greed of the first world, often concealed by the utopia of beneficial globalisation, is exposed by the artworks' pretty showcases, in which ‘take-away’ kidneys are waiting for their customer, and luxurious offers are available online for medicinal tourism. Visitors are informed about organ trade routes, reminiscent of colonial times, as well as the life history of donors, who sell their organs for financial reasons.
Shilpa Gupta's selection of medium and means for her artwork is not solely based on electronic media, but also considerations of role behaviour and social grievance.
Your Kidney Supermarket was nominated in the category 'interaction' in the transmediale.04 competition as well as for the Werkleitz Award.

Can this project be described as interactive art? It quite easily exists without any reference to digital media. This is true, and it is something we did discuss. But its meaning relies heavily on the social and economic culture of digital systems for it to function and flourish. Even Ebay has become a market place for donor organs. With the added visibility of a cheerful consumer shopping experience and a user friendly website, Your Kidney Supermarket offers a service in which the transaction is seamless and easy. All messiness and complexity remains hidden – it’s all sugar and sweetness …

Digital Design student, Juan Martinezguerra was fortunate enough to work with TEDx Vancouver for his graduate project to create interactive elements to enhance the 2011 conference experience for attendees and followers. Juan created a host of conference materials — from origami name tags conference attendees could interact with to fold into an 'explorer' spaceship to an interactive kiosk, website and iPhone application that allow attendees to expand the cluster of “ideas worth spreading."

Edited European Southern Observatory image of interacting galaxies. Color/processing variant.
Original caption: Colour-composite image of the triplet of galaxies, catalogued as NGC 7173 (top), 7174 (bottom right) and 7176 (bottom left), and located 106 million light-years away towards the constellation of Piscis Austrinus (the 'Southern Fish'). This triplet of galaxies makes up part of the Hickson Compact Group HCG 90. NGC 7173 and 7176 are elliptical galaxies, while NGC 7174 is a spiral galaxy with quite disturbed dust lanes and a long, twisted tail. This seems to indicate that the two lower galaxies - whose combined shape bears some resemblance to that of a sleeping baby - are currently interacting. Astronomers have suggested that the three galaxies will finally merge. The size of the image is about 5.3 arcminutes. The image is based on data obtained with the VLT FORS1 instrument on ESO's Very Large Telescope through three different filters, B, V, and R. The data were extracted from the ESO Science Archive and fully processed by Henri Boffin (ESO).

One of the coolest companies I get to spend time working with is Connect. Co-founded by friends Ryan Allis and Sarah Anima Lavoy, Connect is an app that helping peeps sort out the tangled web of online social media connections. I got to photograph their mimosa brunch launch party in Austin, Texas this year at SXSW 2014. Excited to work with these guys a lot more in the future!
Connect was built to make it easier to stay connected to your friends throughout life. Connect shows all your friends from social networks on a map, and can notify you when they are nearby. You can see where friends have checked in recently, as well as the cities they live in around the world. Connect was designed so that all your friends from Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, iPhone Contacts, Google Contacts, and LinkedIn show up on your map - so, from the very start, your map will have hundreds of your people on it.
With Connect, you can check in and tell your friends how long you'll be somewhere, and easily share it with your social networks. Also, your Connect address book automatically stays up-to-date, making it easier to keep in touch with everyone. Now you'll know where your friends are, and have your entire network in your pocket as you move around the world.
