I speak Spanish at an intermediate level, however I find the Chilean accent a bit difficult - it is fine when spoken slowly!

It was the warmest day in February . Me and Nataly made a small walk to our Buga lake, we even didn´t need any jacket. After walk, at home we decided to make a barbecue on the balcony . The day was really very nice.
IN MEMORIAM: Federico García Lorca 1898-1936, espectáculo de Teatro del Norte, con dramaturgia, dirección e interpretación a cargo de Etelvino Vázquez, espacio escénico diseñado por Carlos Lorenzo, vestuario a cargo de Manuela Caso, iluminación de Ruben Alvarez, y música de Alberto Rionda y otros, que se representó en el Teatro El Albéitar de la Universidad de León el 17 de octubre´20.

IN MEMORIAN: Federico García Lorca1898 – 1936

Me llamo Federico García Lorca y vengo a entregarle esta obra que he escrito para usted. Se llama “Mariana Pineda”. Y me gustaría mucho que pudiera leerla.

Yo me quedo entre los muertos, yo voy cantando mi canto inmenso. Canto el canto de quieres callan, de quienes mueren. Me quedo aquí con mi canto y con mi llanto.
Entre estos diez años pasa prácticamente toda la vida literaria del poeta Federico García Lorca, pero pasa también la relación de Lorca con la gran actriz Margarita Xirgu. Diez años de vida, de amistad y de teatro. Diez años en los que Xirgu estrena alguna de las obras más importantes de Lorca.
Pero la sublevación del general Franco rompió para siempre esta relación teatral.
Federico desapareció para siempre, por orden militar, de la mente de los españoles Margarita, también para siempre, y también por imperativo militar, se perdió en el inmenso continente sudamericano.
Dos almas gemelas perdidas en la nada, para siempre. Pero, a diferencia de Federico, cruelmente asesinado, Margarita mantuvo viva, siempre, hasta
su muerte en los años sesenta, la memoria de su gran amigo, de su gran autor: Federico García Lorca.
Y así, año tras año, fue conservando y manteniendo viva la memoria de Federico, al otro lado del mar.
Y así, año tras año, siguió dialogando con su amado Federico, como si siguiese vivo, como si ya no fuese un fantasma de sí mismo. Un dialogo sin espacio ni tiempo donde Margarita es ya Federico, su memoria viva, y donde Federico es ya Margarita, revivido en las escenarios argentinos.
Y de eso trata este espectáculo, de la vida de Federico, para que no se olvide su asesinato, para que nunca se apague su memoria. Pero también del dialogo ininterrumpido entre Federico García Lorca y Margarita Xirgu, de su teatro, de sus pasado, de su futuro y de su recuerdo.
Ese recuerdo y esa memoria que algunos quisieron ahogar en un charco de sangre.
