Revisited Angkor Wat to check it in all it's sunrise glory. A few tips for this: Bring a wide angle lens and be there before before 5:30! The place was already filled with people by the time we got there. I think we left the hotel around 5:15 then so we were a bit late already. Just got lucky that I was able to squeeze in a few shots without much people in the way. Of course, the visit wouldn't have been complete without us taking photos in the main walkway. Hahaha!
Had lunch in Il Forno in the Pub Street area. Highly recommended for their pizzas and pastas! The rest of the day was spent on a random trip to a nearby fishing village. Awesome time on a boat if not for those kids with the snakes. :|

In Potosi Bolivia you can get a tour of a working mine that has no safety regulations at all! No company owns the mine just miners who have stakes in different parts. This means no one is responsible for safety or controlling who enters the mine, allowing for silly tourists like me to visit and give them a few basic gifts (with a guide).
It was a hot 35C from the natural heating and pretty strong odor/dust.
Here they are loading a basic cart full of rock they will push/pull to a pulley a few hundred meters away. It is horribly difficult and dangerous work. Enjoy your zinc and silver!

Der Gasometer Schöneberg ist ein 1913 in Betrieb genommener und 1995 stillgelegter Niedrigdruck-Gasbehälter auf dem ehemaligen Gelände der GASAG in Berlin-Schöneberg. Das seit 1994 unter Denkmalschutz stehende und 78 Meter hohe Bauwerk gilt als Landmarke und markantes Wahrzeichen Schönebergs auf dem EUREF-Campus im Stadtquartier.
Das ca. 5,5 Hektar große Stadtquartier EUREF (=Europäisches Energieforum) liegt im Berliner Ortsteil Schöneberg .Der Campus um den Gasometer Schöneberg versteht sich als Symbol der Energiewende in Deutschland und ist Standort für Unternehmen aus den Bereichen Energie, Nachhaltigkeit und Mobilität. Seit Beginn der Standortentwicklung durch der Berliner Architekten Reinhard Müller in 2008 haben sich auf dem EUREF-Campus internationale Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen angesiedelt. In einem engen Austausch und zahlreichen Partnerschaften entwickeln Global Player, Start-Ups sowie forschende und lehrende Einrichtungen intelligente Lösungen für die Stadt der Zukunft.
Der EUREF-Campus ist ein Referenzort für die Smart City-Strategie des Landes Berlin. Das Konzept des EUREF-Campus „Intelligente Stadt“ hat die Umsetzung einer nachhaltigen Stadtentwicklung zum Ziel. Im Jahr 2014 konnte der EUREF-Campus das CO2-Klimaschutzziel der Bundesregierung für das Jahr 2050 erreichen.Mit einer klimaneutralen Energieversorgung, einem intelligenten Energienetz, den energieeffizienten Gebäuden, der Erprobungsplattform für Elektromobilität und den zahlreichen Forschungsprojekten soll der Campus beweisen, dass die Energiewende machbar und finanzierbar ist.
Über Veranstaltungen zu den Themen Klimaschutz und Nachhaltigkeit, geführte Campustouren und Unternehmensbesuche sowie informative Projekte wie die Werkstatt der Energiewende baut das Stadtquartier seine Funktion als Forum und Informationshub weiter aus.
Seit 2007 wird der 5,5 Hektar große EUREF-Campus zu einer sogenannten Smart City für Arbeiten, Forschen, Bilden und Wohnen entwickelt. Im Mittelpunkt der Entwicklung stehen energetisch optimierte Gebäude, ein lokales „Micro Smart Grid“, Mobilitätssharing sowie die Nutzung regenerativer Energien wie Biomethan. Alle Gebäude sind per Smart Metering an ein lokales Energienetz angeschlossen, das ihren Verbrauch zentral misst und steuert. Der EUREF-Campus ist heute ein Referenzort für die Smart City-Strategie des Landes Berlin.

The event was opened by Estonian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Margus Laidre, who read greetings from Minister of Education Tõnis Lukas and Minister of Culture Laine Jänes.
