In October 2020 a massive forest fire destroyed 200,000 acres of pristine mountains and park lands in Colorado. In the small town of Grand Lake some structures were lost, but most of the town survived unharmed. The shoreline is still beautiful but the forests above it are gone and will take many decades to regrow.

This is basically an overlay of one of my photos (grass covered in melted hoarfrost in the sunlight) with a digitally created image (T2D, DDG) I have decided to texture it since I liked the patterns of light on the face originating from the photo but wanted to soften them for better balance.
Lionesses in Woburn Safari Park, taken through the car window. Who knows how they are feeling but they certainly looked contented & healthy. Had a lovely day here on Monday with my son & grandchildren. The weather wasn`t very good, bad light for photos but still great to get out!

Le montagne nello sfondo con un piccolo ghiacciaio, fanno parte del gruppo comprendente il Monte Similaun dove fu rinvenuto Oetzi, l'uomo vissuto tra 5300 e 5200 anni fa.
The mountains in the background with a small glacier are part of the group comprising Mount Similaun where Oetzi was found, the man who lived between 5300 and 5200 years ago.
In this picture the fog was higher than in the first picture. This created a very different mood as the sun shone through the fog

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is : In the middle. Mr. Teddy Bear is with us in order to celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. And it is a very strange coincidence, since Mr. Teddy Bear is in the middle of a very, very interesting book. It is a criminal and international intrigue and Mr. Teddy Bear loves it. He decided to take a picture when he will be exactly in the middle of his book, and that is the picture you see today.
And not only, Mr. Teddy Bear is in the middle of his book, he is also in the middle of this picture ! Isn’t that awesome ?

A beautiful, sunny day on Saturday, so I went down to a beach, close to home.
Here, two oystercatchers were rooting around in the shallows , in lovely light.

In Messina, Sicily, there is a church tower with a mechanical carillon dating from 1933. The tower is almost 50 metres high and can be climbed. From the top you have an interesting view of the church square. I took three pictures of a man crossing the square and superimposed them.

Little Diamond has released this outfit called Miss Lara as part of the new event from Seraphim called Evolve. The event runs from May 16th to June 5th. The jacket & shirt dress are all one piece with the garters being optional. Each set comes with a HUD to change the color of the jacket, garters, and metals.
This place is called Tilas stoll in Swedish which translates to something like Tilas shaft. This shaft is part of a bigger mine that is called Krakbogruvan and you can find it in Högbergsfältet in Persberg, Sweden. The "model" on the picture is my good friend Johan Aurvind. He is a young very promising photographer with an account here on Flickr. Check him out!
