I like spiderwebs. The little spiders are really great artists in building their complex models. Always such a beauty, which can be easily found, sometimes even indoors. I took this photo in the late afternoon, using the sunlight to give her beautiful glow.
It's a lovely example of Art in Nature ;-))
It's not the most majestic waterfall, but it's the best there is in the area. Spring rains caused the water volume to increase dramatically.
In between moves ..... with serious delays ...... but the good thing is that there is now some time again for Flickr-action and to fold and take photos ;-))
Hope you are all in good health. Have a wonderful start of your weekend!
Poppies for those of Valour in the Past and also those in more recent times in a very different kind of conflict. Worldwide covid.
Venice is a city of canals, bridges and boats. The canal next to my hotel was very picturesque in the day light and in the twilight of morning a shadowy mysterios place.

Henne Fountain in Aschersleben, constructed in 1906.

The "Plana de l'Olm" is a pretty little square in the heart of the old town of the catalan city of Manresa.
Under the elm that presides over the square, you can admire the sculpture “A l’ombra” (In the shadow), by the artist Ramón Oms. The sculpture represents a woman sitting on a bench in the shade of a tree, with a book in her hand.
With the mighty Hagia Sophia mosque in the background ,we were just arriving in Istanbul ,Turkey. Our cruise ship was about to enter the Black sea for an interesting journey.

I had some fun with this one and learned some Photoshop tricks while I was doing it. As soon as I get another boarder staying here I'm going back to the coast. Just seems like there's just a lot of cool adjustments I can do to coastal shots.

There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all ..♫

A New Zealand bush Robin (Toutouwai) that kindly landed on a small area of light on the forest floor, Zealandia, Wellington, New Zealand. The Toutouwai does not fly over open land preferring bush cover. I never see this bird in the area of New Zealand where I live aside from visiting the large ecosanctuary valley that is heavily forested.
Gatekeeper Butterfly on Cranesbill in my garden. Internet problems & hubby not well so will catch up when I can.

Kostanjevica na Krki, Slovenia's smallest town and one of the oldest, is a veritable wonder of nature. The "na Krki" ("on the Krka") part of its name is extremely apt, since the old part of the town is actually situated on an island in a bend of the river Krka, at the foot of the Gorjanci Hills.
Fährhafen Puttgarden auf Fehmarn in der Ostsee.
---------------------------

Sometimes dreams do come true. I am so grateful to have been able to view the castle of my dreams, Eilean Donan in Scotland. What an iconic castle it is, a fable from days of yore. So now in these days of "good will and peace to all men", my thoughts turn to our troubled world. I am still dreaming that peace will come to us all.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.
~ John Lennon
