This is a detail of a kitchen grater - I spent enough time trying to line stuff up last week! Hahaha!
Many thanks for all views, fav's and particularly comments. They are all greatly appreciated.

Macro Monday - Redux...all in a row
I saw these Christmas macarons, on Christmas Eve, they were reduced so I bought them for a photo prop. Macro Monday is visiting past themes so I used the macarons for 'all in a row" I really struggled to get a shot I am happy with and am not overly pleased with this but have spent enough time faffing and these macarons aren't going to eat themselves! ;) HMM
All I can say is I had loads of fun doing this one. I must have lost myself for hours as I tried different lighting, line-ups etc and this is the one I was most pleased with.
For this week of Macro Monday I went back to B&W-shots. It's something I really enjoy making so this is the result mixed the theme 'Circles'.
The spheres are smaller than 1 cm².
HMM! Thanks for the views, faves and comments! It is much appreciated! :)

These small dolls are called Sarubobo. These Sarubobo's heads are made with balloon vine seeds. This is an ornament they ride a twig. It looks like they enjoy a roller coaster. They are also used the charm for easy delivery.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
Amsterdam's property taxes used to be based on the width of the frontage, so many houses were built tall, thin and deep. The area is very marshy, so there are no really tall buildings, not even modern office blocks, at least, not that I saw - maybe further inland. Subsidence over the centuries means that many buildings are now somewhat askew.
The canals are about 3m (10ft) deep. We were told that they contain 1m depth of mud, 1m of discarded bicycles and 1m of water.
These little clouds in a row reminded me of the nursery rhyme.
We are having a beautiful spring but let us not forget that rain is badly needed this time of year in order that plants grow to provide us with food.
