I had been shut out for 5 nights in a row on this trip and was willing to shoot anything at this point. As I was running around to the different viewpoints on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon looking for some open sky, I rounded the corner along the drive and hit the brakes for a quickie. :) I set up one light panel quickly and snapped 3 shots then jumped back in and off I went. I used a cooler white balance than usual on this one at around 3200. :)

#26 Still/52 in 2023 Challenge
In early September 2016 a group of 8 us did our annual canoeing and camping trip in Ontario's Algonquin Park. This year we setup our campsite on Big Porcupine Lake found in the south end of the park. All of these images are from that lake.
For Macro Mondays. My friend gave me these beautiful coloured vintage shot glasses. I'm going to have fun with them :)
Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) I focused on the one right in the middle and he obliged by looking straight at me!
for Macro Mondays for 7/17 for in a row. I actually shot one I liked way better and was going to use it but upon reflection with the space around the duckies it was a hair too large and I just couldn’t do that. Even if I cropped it, it didn’t feel right. So this is a different paler composition with shadows…. sigh.

a little explanation ~ I was far away when I noticed them ... I think it was a wedding photography and they were looking at the photographer ... :)
I need to get these paper wrinkles in a row………...almost done.

Ces Boutons en bois montrent de belles couleurs et ce n'est pas parce qu'ils sont posés sur une fourchette qu'ils sont pour autant comestibles. #Macro #MacroMondays #InaRow #In-A-Row
