Photoshop shenanigans..

With a special thank to brevity and being inspired by Jason Salavon's Homes for Sale, this piece is the result of mean averaging 100 photos of Savannah houses I took from 2003 to 2005.

啟迪自 Jason Salavon 的作品之一 Homes for Sale,這件作品是以100張我這兩年來拍攝的Savannah這裡建築的照片均質化而成。

an oldie from back when my sx-70 still worked.

no Photoshopping. just good old elbow grease with an orange stick before the Time Zero's emulsion hardened...

First filter experiment of this series of 5 image versions of a patch of prickly pear cactus at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona. Looks best large and see the others for how different using the filters can be.

Pimped Picture 64a . Removed colour cast on the skin and removed blemishes the smoothed skin warmed skin tones up with curves, then applied a crop to the image to get rid of wasted space and to pull the eye into the image and then some sharpening work done around the eye area and work done on the cherry including adding additional lighting to make the cherry the main point of contact for the eye then a little burning in work around the edges of the image to give the illussion of a single softbox being used for lighting. This was done as part of flickr group Pimp My Pixels.

So many ways to turn, sometimes it's overwhelming. And sometimes you feel like you're in an endless loop.

This was created from one exposure which, btw, was one-half second, hand held. Not to brag, but ...

earlier in the budding phase of the white camellia posted before these last three... also photographed using the CCRLS:

plus some reflecting white cardboard to nudge the shadows upward a bit.

small, but fleeting and thorny fragrant beauty, climbs the fence around the lake... possibly the Dog Rose, and since I've seen pinkish buds on this plant of white flowers.. so it could also be Rose Multiflora?

for the "make it interesting challenge" #3

TTV from Vin60, thanks!

Background from lostajy thanks! :-)

deer, arrow and squaw are all CC from somewhere in flickrland but I can't find again to credit, thanks anyway ;)

Located on Chicago's far south side, the Historic Pullman District was the first planned industrial town in America. It's a unique slice of the past only a short drive from downtown Chicago.

aahahahahah!

Merry Xmas to everyone

Shot on a recent drive in York county, PA. Mild Orton treatment (mainly to fire up the flat winter colors) I like what it did for the red gate.

As far as I have researched it, originally it was an Amish and Mennonite good luck sign that non-Amish folk started hanging on their homes as a decorative folk art.
