Pimped Picture 64a . Removed colour cast on the skin and removed blemishes the smoothed skin warmed skin tones up with curves, then applied a crop to the image to get rid of wasted space and to pull the eye into the image and then some sharpening work done around the eye area and work done on the cherry including adding additional lighting to make the cherry the main point of contact for the eye then a little burning in work around the edges of the image to give the illussion of a single softbox being used for lighting finally converted over into black and white and a little extra dodging and burning done to bring out shadow and highlight detail. This was done as part of flickr group Pimp My Pixels.

One more variation.. a play on it's name.. but also a play on satellite dishes, which so many flower resemble. This version got its start from playing with the Nikon 18-55mm kit lens zooming during exposure. After some Photoshop enhancements of some elements, this is its broadcast for now.
I saw these in the grocery store. I want one of each to collect and I think I'd like to try the blush.
OK maybe not.
Oh well I still have this picture. Hey wonder where that palmetto tree is anyway?
Created with the Tiltshift Maker. (Making real photographs look like the subjects were model-sized.)
Original photograph taken June, 2007.
This is probably one of the top 5 favorite films of all time, along with: "Chasing amy", "Serenity", "Clerks (1 + 2)" and "Garden state".
So what are your's?
My 2 stepsisters and their friend. This picture actually came from the first roll of film I ever shot when I started photography in high school. It's been in a nationwide contest and is still one of my favorites to this day.

8x10 analog print on archival paper. Color darkroom experiment with stacked negatives - black and white imagery with color texture. For a "before and after" experience, the pure b&W version of this is in my photostream.

politics aside, just for fun, no political statement intended
4th of 5 experiments using Photoshop filters to work with an image of prickly pear cactus, taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens last weekend. This one is inversted from the original, then added the neon glow filter and finally the "equalize" adjustment. Best view is large or better yet, the original size view which is 1800 pixels wide. Well... maybe it looks best large to those who appreciate psychodelia, ha ha!
Unfinished work made while listening to Kitaro - Flying Celestial Nymphs and remembering the wonderful novel posted by PëKëLä-NëO :
A special thanx to Any Manetta for letting me know of this wonderful music.
Two years ago now I made a little Processing script to average sets of photos, and a few weeks before that I started a photo-a-day project, where I was careful to get as close to the same angle as possible.

Merlin used his magic to place a total of 1,500 tons of bluestones and sarcens in their current patterns. This is a photoshop collage using my own photography from the Salisbury Plain in England along with original and stock illustration. This collage was posted on Illustration Friday during "total" theme week.
I took this cloning series of photos outside my work.
There's a shop full of guys next door and they probably assumed I was a little on the "koo-koo" side as I was running around with just a camera and tripod. I noticed when I was finished, there was a small audience and then questions when I starting walking back to my office...
Them: What cha doin o'er dar?
My answer: I was cloning myself
Their reply to that: Is that there camera a duplication machine!

This version reminded me of something I once heard from a theraputic massage therapist, years ago, when I was bemoaning my latest stresses and distresses about my love life. He started Laughing.. and laughing.... so I had to ask. He replied "You white people kill me. (more chuckling) You don't know how to Suffa! That's what The Blues is all about, man. You gotta learn to just Sing The Blues."
That did it, for me, btw.. I immediately let go my attachment to my own BS. ;-)
Thanks to Ray, who will probably never know what that meant for me. LOL.
