Sweet & sour pork made with yellow peppers, pineapple and cider vinegar

Frittata with Quebec semi-hard cheese & chanterelles, backyard basil &

hand rolled breakfast sausage.

Spring means time for annual stuffed grape leaves. I picked the leaves and blanched them, and prepped the filling yesterday, so I just had to roll them up and simmer them today. Lemony dill goodness!

No toaster = fry bread in bacon fat, obvs

Missed the Eataly sale so we got some seafood and heirloom tomatoes

Baking cupcakes for a bake sale. Here they've been depanned and are cooling on a rack.

"Red Salmon", I believe it was called... This stuff was a bit more "raw"/"wild" and more "fishy" than your usual salmon sashimi cut, and a lot more RED in person, as well. The redness doesn't show itself so well in the pic.

Sugar snap peas, cauliflower, red bell pepper, crookneck squash, onion.
