simple, handheld one today. rushed it because i was in the bathroom at the laundromat. it's very boring there. i thought the door and tile might be more interesting but i guess not. i was tempted to see what i could do with this in photoshop but it's been a pretty relaxing day and i'm ok with this straight from the camera.

anyway, the weekend was good. relaxing but without spending too much time sleeping or in front of the computer. and it looks like it'll be warm pretty soon. (3/13/11)

It's rated as one of the darkest night sky places in the continental US>..and leaving town a two A.M the next morning I can attest to seeing lot of stars. (very nice for a city kid).

This week has been a challenging one for taking photos; lots of rain and we added an adorable 8-week-old Border Collie puppy, Nic, to our family. Luckily, I was able to get this nice spring photo of Ben this afternoon during a sun break. Ben was squinting in the bright sunlight, so I brought him into a slightly shaded area so he could look at me better. I am creating a Weeks project for all four of my Border Collies; a fun challenge!

You can see that this pipe is coming from the other grow bed, since we don't use any glue, it's just a question of reconnecting. It's very straight forward.
