My apologies for no activity lately, been pretty busy. My family and I managed to spare some time for a cousin's wedding in Chicago, which has quite a pretty skyline. This was taken near the Trump Tower across from the Chicago Tribune and Wrigley buildings.

A bit hard to get a sharp focus on the petal point with handheld.

My shaky hands is to hard for the Mega OIS to correct?

Looks good on LCD preview but upon scrutiny on my laptop was not so sharp :-(

Any one know how to select focus point and increase DoF while on iA mode?

When you're taking a bracketed shot, a steady hold is crucial. Unless you're looking for this kind of effect. I wasn't when I took this shot. I usually use a pole or sign post, tree, car roof, something like that to steady my camera. Tripods work best, but my photo expeditions are about walking, not lugging! The less I have to carry, the better off I am. In this case I had nothing to steady my camera. But I'm seeing some potential here! I'll be pushing this effect in the future, see where I wind up. Stay tuned :)

So I discovered that my camera can get up to 16.5x optical zoom by only utilising the centre pixels of the CCD chip - here is a handheld moon at 16.5x zoom showing distinct craters along the terminator at the top and bottom of the disc.
