Taken from the front porch. Moments before, the sun had been shining brightly; the rain started even when the sun was out. By the time I got the camera, no more sun. Just lots of rain. Did not take time to set up the tripod, so handheld yet again.
I can't believe this turned out! Handheld continuous exposure. VERY easily stitched together in photoshop.

It looked unimpressive at first, but with a simple test I fell in love with it! It is super loud though...I'm going to have to wear ear plugs when using it.

This 50mm f1.2 is amazing. Shot this on a 5D Mark II, handheld, ISO 2500 at f1.2. The cactus is sharp but the background is a cream of blur. Whatta lens!

Curiosity lead me to take this shot. Also I was curious to see how it would look in HDR. This my first time applying it to one of my photos. Since my new 10-22mm ultra wide angle lens distorts and stretches what you see, I thought HDR would take it to another level.
Exploring new ways to take shots with my new 10-22mm glass when I saw an acquaintance and his friend walking a pitbull towards me. I shouted, "Does he bite?" He responded, "nah, he's doesn't bite. He's cool." I got on the ground and put my camera on the sidewalk and angled my lens towards them and held my finger on the shutter. The pitbull was curious to know what my camera was and why it was making the clicking sound as he got closer to my camera. I could have title this "stupidity." At that moment my heart started to race because I knew a pitbill can attack suddenly and me being on the ground at his level, I was in a bad predictament. But fortunately for me the pitbulls wasn't so curious. He feared my camera more than I feared him. So he simply walked around me. He was only a 9-month old puppy.
