Taken at a local wildlife refuge. I was using my 70-200mm lens, so these images are significantly cropped.
I realized that my scanner can do negatives, but only if they are 2 1/4 wide not 4x5. So I can scan all my 6x17's from my imaginary fotoman. So I scanned them cropped as best as I could eyeball it and edited them on gimp. I think they be awesome.

had to hurry up this shot when the security guard came to stop us. only got 2 shots on this grafitti with my model.
I was out for a hike. It was not very bright. So, the shutter speed is a little slow. The IS on this lens is insane. This was right after and also right before I dodged the bicyclists.

This is the image that I selected for the 12th week of Nan's 52 Weeks project. Still working on getting Nan more comfortable around the camera. I shot blind again this week; this time I held the the camera close to the ground and gave Nan a little piece of cheese as an extra reward for coming to it. Nan is not food motivated, but she will happily accept a treat if she is not feeling anxious.
