Handheld, no detail, but the color was worth the shot.

Our handheld systems included a pair of Gameboy Advance SPs and an old Lynx. All of them were set up with external speakers so they could be heard.

A collection of all of my Nintendo handhelds. The only items missing are the original Nintendo DS, Gameboy Micro, and ... the Virtual Boy.

This is a poolside bungalow of Radisson Blu hotel. It was shot in the dark. No tripod.

We had a great thunderstorm tonight and this picture was kind of an experiment to see if I could photograph lightning while hand holding my camera. (Call it an exercise in timing and reflexes.) It actually turned out better than I thought it would! Next time I might grab the tripod though. :)

At last on the 2nd time of looking I have seen the light. Excuse the rough pictures, these are handheld and on a moving boat. But at least I have now seen one of nature's beautiful light shows. The phenomenon is caused by electrically charged solar particles , high in energy, entering the Earth's atmosphere. They occur mainly in Arctic regions.

This is a harmless little test, though I may have been a bit too heavy-handed Tone Mapping it.

 

... I don't usually use so much blacks...

 

It is mainly to test how much shake can be nullified and how much noise I will get at only 3 shots (compared to the 5-10 shots I usually do).
