I ended up with only a few of these for all the experimentation I did... but now I have more outlandish ideas. I suppose that's not bad for having NO idea what is coming out. The motion in this one caught me by surprise. I had to do more processing on this capture to separate the details. The exposure was too short to do a proper job. I have been expanding my "action" exposures at the fireworks and the carnival. Here, at the foot of the Rockies, we were granted a cool-down in July and sprinkles or rain. The day became excessively dark and I thought I'd try my hand at movement shots of the dark vegetation by the path along river. I was at the Longmont, Boulder County greenbelt and rec area looped the Ponds. It is amazing how a short wait brings changing skies out here. I grabbed this shot even though the exposures were too short. Never can tell what will pop up!
It's sprinkling again. Oh well, there is a pavilion ahead anyway. Summer sprinkles are welcome. This spot is surrounded by city and the turn into the rec. area is just over six blocks away from home base. I wanted to look for possible locations even though the sky has been a slug again. I opted for this scene without sky but it was mostly overcast. I knew I'd have some work to try to contain the range and the deep shade maxed what I could present. I wandered the green space and took some detail shots that were available. I wonder when I will run out of opportunities at the Golden Ponds but on the other hand more work may help sharpen the eye. l'lI keep looking... and practicing.

In the not too distant past, our rabbits and I made a few little critters to drum up a little dough to pay for their pet cat’s mounting medical bills. Probably because we channeled a whole bunch of positive energy into them, they feel pretty good to look at.
Then I realized they feel pretty good to hold, too. Their asymmetrical shape is a bit anatomical—they seem to fall right into the crook of the hand. I soon noticed that my hands, when idle, went straight for one. Familiar like a well-worn blanket or other childhood treasure, they’re quite cuddly. Best of all, they don’t snore.
As usual, these little sweeties contain the standard materials: recycled wool, cotton, and buttons and hypo-allergenic poly-Dacron fiber fill. Healthy for both people and the environment we live in, they’re lovely gifts for anyone who needs a little comfort every now and then.
Not that impressed with the sharpness. I will try it out in my messy shop and compare it with the same lighting as the one I took with the SE.
I took this evening handheld! It has just been cropped a little. The more I use this camera the more I like it!
I wanted to crop the top of this pano, but it was 50.3 megapixels, more than the 50-megapixel Flickr limit for editing. I didn't have any software handy outside of Flickr to crop it. The viewer I had let me change the resolution from 72 to 70. Then I posted it to Flickr and it came out to 47.6 megapixels. so the editor would accept it. After I cropped it the way I wanted, it comes out to 38.7 megapixels. These are the things you do when you are not a computer professional. I don't see a large drop in quality.

To view sit 2-3 feet from your monitor. The left eye looks at the right image. The right eye looks at the left image. Don't strain or go bug-eyed. Relax. A central image giving stereo depth will appear.

Taken without a tripod, handheld using spot metering, I found that using the M option suits such situation as easy to change exposure and apperture.
