From About Fondren Library:
W. W. and Ella Fondren began their family's association with SMU in 1919. Their gift of Humble Oil stock shares in 1935 funded the construction of the Fondren Library. It was completed in 1940 and had most of the characteristics of a library building of that period.
By 1968, Fondren Library, with the largest collection on campus housing materials in the humanities, social sciences and business, had already outgrown its original walls. Once again through the generosity of the Fondren Family and Foundation along with federal assistance as authorized through the Higher Education Facilities Assistance Act, the library was enlarged by a four floor addition to the east end of the building. The west end of the original Fondren Library now houses the DeGolyer Library of Special Collections.

Still figuring out this camera. 1/60th of a second bounces the shutter a bit, double exposing a large strip at the top of the image, but the other speeds seem fine. I think the unusual contrast effect of this image was caused by shooting a barrel lens into a backlit type of situation.
A collection of all of my Nintendo handhelds. The only items missing are the original Nintendo DS, Gameboy Micro, and ... the Virtual Boy.

Isolated and derelict tin mine, central Cornwall. Many mines like this stopped working by 1914.
To view sit 2-3 feet from your monitor. The left eye looks at the right image. The right eye looks at the left image. Don't strain or go bug-eyed. Relax. A central image giving stereo depth will appear.
I passed this field with its neatly aligned rows of grass-cuttings after sunset. There was just enough light left to grab a quick shot.
I saw the moon in the clouds, and I had to try. I couldn't quickly find my tripod, so this is all handheld. I think it turned out OK.
