I loved my mother's hands. She was a nurse and also a quilter and a lot of good came from her hands.
When she passed I went to the funeral home before the funeral to say my goodbyes in private. I held her hands one last time. They were the same, but different. I did not want to let them go.
I still miss them.
My hands look a bit like hers. The same, but different. My hands on the sewing machine remind me of my mom. It's good.

The hands belong to Chris Orwig and this was taken at the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas as Chris gets a shot of David Duchemin.
behind helping hand should hide shadow no more..
have you ever help just for the sake of personal benefits?
Been tagged by Pure_embers, thanks ;)
1. Take one of your dolls now and make a shot of her/his hand in your hand.
2. Tag as many friends as you like.
I'm so late I don't tag anyone. Feel free to do it =)

I haven't uploaded anything for a while and I'm late on a lot of photostreams. I'm quite busy at work (where I mostly watch flickr lol) and I've been away a lot too. I was in vacation in Germany beginning of August, away for another long week end, and leaving again Thursday for 4 days to Oslo. (And new Flickr was a bit disorientating...)
I have pictures to upload but have the motivation, I'll do it soon enough =)
I chose Tina for this tag because it has been a while. And she has her old eyechips back, by the way.The picture is not so nice but it was dark when I took it.

My anxiety didn't leave when Hailey did. I was afraid of that. I've continued to have disturbing thoughts and nightmares that I cannot control. So that is the inspiration for the sort of dark photos I've had within the last month. I feel like it kind of helps me.
