It's the ranch winter and I share. At ground level is a ranch and some carnival rides.

This lady is late 80's, drives her car too fast, and is fully occupied looking after others. She was willing to pose for this photo, whilst protesting that she disliked what arthritis had done to her hands.

Pixie has fallen asleep with her paw up . Whatever is on offer - she wants it !

While typing a flickrmail to a friend, I noticed that the morning light reflecting off my red t-shirt shone brightly on my left hand.

What makes a great photo is the story behind it, and in this case what you see is a arm and hand guiding a horse. It's actually a horseman walking a thoroughbred to the paddock area to be suited up for an upcoming race.I just liked the way it looked, thus the title.

( and yes, that's drool hanging off his lip )
