This was taken at breakfast the other morning. We had a brilliant window seat and I got really lucky with this shot.

De sobte, després de mesos i mesos de bones intencions sense fets que les realitzessin, es va retrobar amb la seva mirada. S'havia encongit uns centímetres més, però estava més eixerida que l'últim cop que la va veure, empresonada en quatre parets familiars.
Els seus ulls encara brillaven quan la feia somriure, mirant esperençada al cel, sabent que un dia retrobaria l'únic home que va estimar.
Cada arruga del seu rostre relatava una història. Les seves mans eren el més viu testimoni del pas del temps, de la duresa de la postguerra i d'aquella vida que somiava tenir i que només va viure en somnis.
Aquell dia es retrobaren dues generacions. Les paraules perdudes se les enduia el vent, i només en quedava aquella imatge que entrellaçava el present i el passat, que anclava el record amb les rialles dels temps que havia d'arribar.

WIT: I took a picture of this celestial observatory, and thought it would be whimsical if the "Hand of God" came out of the clouds, as if to say, "NO PEEKING!!!". So I took a picture of my hand, cut it out and pasted it to this picture. I also added a bit of texture and saturation to give a more surreal feel to the image.
Hand turkey! Not the easiest thing in the world to shape, and the build is actually fairly technical, but I'm very satisfied with how simple the end result looks.
