Sometimes, when you get close to everything is when you can see the true beauty.
Having a walk with a fixed macro lens, trying to find some colors, light and details.
A pair of Habronattus (I think H. pyrrithrix) jumping spiders. The male displayed a little bit for the female, but maybe when he saw she was distracted with her meal, he decided to move in carefully without doing too much dancing. But she apparently didn't like having her dinner interrupted, because although he managed to get close to her a few times, she kept kicking him away, and finally he got the message and gave up. (Sequence of five shots from three or four of his attempts)
A couple weeks ago, my wife captured another shot of two squirrels in our backyard getting cozy on top of our fence. They frequent our backyard in the morning looking for fruits on our tree. The peaches on our peach tree were pretty much consumed by them before they were ripe. That 's why these squirrels look strong and muscular. They are getting more bold every week. They even chewed on our window screens. I am thinking to catch them with a cage and relocate them to somewhere in the wilderness.
The National Get Outdoors Day (Kom deg ut-dagen) in Norway today was a beautiful one!
I see that lots of friends have been outside having a great time today, most of them in different amounts of snow. I went to the beach with my dog, and we were walking over 4 hours in the beautiful weather ツ

One of last year's delightful flower displays. Some poppies were in bloom near where I live along with a lot of popcorn flowers, as seen here, and the lupine are just getting started. It's about time to go hunting for this year's flower bounty.
Make sure to use that DOF!
Thanks so much for your kind words of late!
Yes, I am sure I looked very silly laying on a blanket in the middle of my driveway trying to get this shot.
When you don't know how deep the water is - get a lift from an adult and let them get their feet wet.

Pictured in Newquay when less than a year old in service, still carrying the 'Get around Cornwall 89+90' branding.
I disliked these when they first showed up as they displaced VR's and Leyland Olympians from the route but time moves on and changes happen.
This particular Trident now allocated to Plymouth carries branding for the X80+X81.
