Finished her faceup and body blushing :D Now I just need to figure out what kind of hair to give her...
Here's a shot from a recent wedding of the bride getting ready, this image really does make it hit home that sometimes it's worth getting in the weirdest of places just to get the magical shot!
Shot with natural light with window to camera right.

A student's mom contacted me today and wanted to buy cupcakes for a friend who was riding her bicycle and was hit by a car! Thankfully only a few broken bones!
Each cupcake has the message "get well" written on a handcut bandage.
I got some very good tips in cyanotype print making and here is my third attempt. I discovered that print time here is way shorter than most people say. I also am using a new watercolor paper stock and a completely different coating technique. I'm definitely getting there.
I'm most pleased with this one. I don't really understand the soft focus in the lower left corner.
This was just before dark outside my front door, much better in black.
This was hand held no time to get tripod set up
These mountain goats are "living" on a poster enticing people to visit Montana. They are reflected on a rear window of a parked car in downtown Seattle. I hope the car will get them back to Montana!

Week 52: Your Style
Well, this week I just took my favourite shot of the week (that wasn't of a pile of soil) and processed it how I normally do.
In considering this, I realise I should be less restrictive in my processing, try different things.
I also realise that I almost always frame shots the same way. And finally that I am still terrible in low light and I really need to learn to use a flash properly.
A photographic 2020 to the group and everyone else!

This is a good friend named Ioanna. She is one of those people who don't feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were having a good time in my house with some friends and when I took the camera and started taking pictures she started yelling at me. A few minutes later she just let go and that's what happens when you let yourself free! Now I have convinced her to go for a portrait session! I hope we will get good results ;p

Having witnessed what little colour there was at sunrise from higher up,i clambered down the cliff (not an easy thing where i was) and decided to move on.While walking round to the climb back out i came across these nicely illuminated finger like rocks pointing to the north sea and the incoming breakers. With the shot bagged it was time to get out and seek another location.

A foot from the louse fly from the earlier posts.
I have never seen claws like these. It looks like each of the two hooks are split into three - no wonder these flies can hang on really tight!
This was shot with the JML 20x objective and in all honesty, the rather low NA of 0.30 is not quite enough to get the most out of this subject. Later I will try a Nikon 20x/0.46 when I recieve it :)
Also, I maybe should have used a tube lens insted of the bellows, but in the heat of the moment I forgot to make the change.
114 exposures stacked in Zerene Stacker, PMAX and DMAP.
2 sec, ISO200, 20:1, slightly cropped to straigthen the image.
Lid by one IKEA Jansjö LED lamp which was diffused by a small cylinder of ordinary copy paper wrapped around the objective.
The background is ordinary black flocking material.

Sometimes, when you get close to everything is when you can see the true beauty.
Having a walk with a fixed macro lens, trying to find some colors, light and details.
The National Get Outdoors Day (Kom deg ut-dagen) in Norway today was a beautiful one!
I see that lots of friends have been outside having a great time today, most of them in different amounts of snow. I went to the beach with my dog, and we were walking over 4 hours in the beautiful weather ツ
