I was going through my husband's workshop and came across a pile of hose clamps. I couldn't resist photographing them, especially with the Pentacon AV lens. There's beauty in everything....

Good morning!! My second week taking part in macro Monday. I'll admit, I almost backed out. Not sure why I'm so insecure about these type of images but there is that little voice of doubt that never seems to go away. Anyways...I'm always telling people to just post what they love even if it isn't everyones cup of tea. So here I am...posting some peely paint, little rust, and weathered old wood!! :-)

Due to constant electrical outages in South Africa, my main computer has just reached its third motherboard for the year, which means that it is currently having a life saving operation. It also means that I am stuck with my very underpowered laptop - one that collapses in a heap every time I try to do anything other than very basic stuff in Photoshop. Consequently, I have reworked an old OOB from a couple of years ago, rather than do a totally new OOB - anyway, it is quite a bit different to the original version, so it is a new OOB in every respect. I was also able to fix up a few things that I didn't like in the original. Enjoy!
