FGR: Ruby Tuesdays

i am the very definition of a guys' girl and a girlie girl

Christina Aguilera - Fighter

After all you put me through

You'd think I'd despise you

But in the end I wanna thank you

'Cause you made that much stronger

Well I thought I knew you

Thinking that you were true

Guess I, I couldn't trust called your bluff

Time is up, 'cause I've had enough

You were there by my side

Always down for the ride

But your joy ride just came down in flames

'Cause your greed sold me out in shame, mmm hmm

After all of the stealing and cheating

You probably think that

I hold resentment for you

But uh uh, oh no, you're wrong

'Cause if it wasn't for all

That you tried to do

I wouldn't know just how capable I am to pull through

So I wanna say thank you

'Cause it

Makes me that much stronger

Makes me work a little bit harder

Makes me that much wiser

So thanks for making me a fighter

Made me learn a little bit faster

Made my skin a little bit thicker

Makes me that much smarter

So thanks for making me a fighter

From the Ultimate Hulks

I like the fact that screenshots are hanging on the wall in a museum.

Another classic I used to play . This is a screenshot of an original Bezerk upright cabinet I was able to play

Game On - festa dos jovens

For Flickr Roulette

Last year I had the opportunity of a lifetime, and I really let myself down. Even though I know I should learn from the experience, pick up, and keep moving forward- I'm finding it difficult to move past it. I'm uncomfortable talking about it.

To be less regretface:

- I talk to myself often

- Often refer to myself as 'we'

- Think veganism is one of the only areas I have discipline in

- Spend a lot of time alone

- Love the fall and often think about moving farther North

- Keep secrets very well

- I don't drink alcohol. At all.

- Can be pretty darn shy

- Could never survive in an area that was either landlocked, or didn't have seasonal weather (technically I could- but wouldn't want to)

- It's my dream (one of them, at least) to own & run a vegan bakery (Perhaps with a friend)

- Often shirk attention, even if I sometimes want it

- Am very critical of pictures of myself- I almost never think I look good in photos

- Suffer from the human condition

- Am not nearly as bitchy as I'm made out to be

- Am really quite silly- but I think a lot of my photos express that- or at least I hope so

- Am dismayed at how old I am- I wanted the aging process to freeze at 24

- I used to absolutely hate my feet - Now it's less so

- Absolutely love my car, in a way one loves a pet or small, mechanical family member

- I'm not really attracted to anyone at the moment, it's kind of depressing

Pardon the pun, I tend to randomly drive around when I'm sorting through something.

FGR: What's your angle buddy?

TRP: Don't turn your back on me!

And happy as heck to have finally gotten Wii Fit! :o)

Although it's pretty mean! Turns out I'm obese, way off balance, and 46?! But hopefully being back to the gym now, and a little of this thown in.... oh yeah, and better diet too..lol....

SWT volunteers keep pouring in! Daniel and Ashley are doing an AMAZING job

manning the fort and handling the multitudes as Yuri handles her own mobile

fort out in her turf! #GameOn!

#WeAreOlympiacos

From the Ultimate Hulks

FGR today took us to a land where we all got horseface. The idea is to open your mouth and blow hard, so it looks like you have a horse's face.

Fail.

I merely ended up looking shocked beyond reason. :-(

Strobist info: To make the light more interesting and to provide enough illumination to allow a faster shutter speed, I put the 430EX on a tripod about head high to the left. I fired straight up, but used the plasticware lightdome I've been favouring lately to create a strong diffuse source. I used a manual exposure because the flash didn't support E-TTL using my cheap remote trigger I got off eBay. The lighting works well, even if the subject is lame.

Just got back from game on. Its finishing this weekend. Lot's busier than last time but just as good. Impressions:

- just as smelly, dark as pinball parlours of old

- had to que to play and still filled with those pesky people who hog the consoles except they have got younger

- the older consoles ('70s-'80's) seemed to be more fun to play probably because of the purpose built controls & cabinet.

- liked pac-man, defender, rez a lot of the psp console games. very colourful and fun to play.

- quite a few lame games. it's not just the graphics that make them fun to play

Unfortunately couldn't take any pics inside (managed to get one this time) but plenty of good times where had. Over 125 consoles to play, different platforms, eras.

Too much fun.

#WeAreOlympiacos

Today's FGR was looking for images featuring black, yellow, and white. I fiddled around with a few things, but thought you might find this most interesting.

I passed by a booth at the Republic of Texas Rally pushing these things. These were more than just bike-riding attorneys. On the reverse side is a ID number. In case this key is found, you can drop it in the mail and it will get back to me.

But wait, there's more!

These keys also serve the purpose of identifying bloody remains of bikers in accidents. Sometimes, all that remains in a bike accident is this key tag. In that case, the police can use the ID number to get a lead on whose remains they've found. The company sombering told me that they do that service about once a year.

I don't really fear death; there's a better place waiting for me. I do worry about Jamie being left without knowing what happened to me. I'd rather that she know I was something in a closed casket than never get a sense of closure.

So, I keep this on my bike all the time. Just in case.

So yesterday Flickr Group Roulette invaded a group that I created a while back. This is my submission and all I can say is, "I can't believe none of you FuGgeRs managed to get a Cadbury's Twirl in your shot!" Maximum bonus points all for me! ;O)

I did feel quite sick after shooting this though! In fact I feel sick just looking at this!
