For Flickr Group Roulette. Today's group is A Few of My Favorite Things.

This is not a complete list of my favorite things, but they were all sitting in the same spot so I went with this...

The ipod represents my music collection. All the records, tapes and CDs I've bought over the years. It still amazes me that all the crates of records and shelves of CDs are now completely contained in the palm of my hand. And I won the Bose sound dock in a raffle after buying $10 worth of tickets.

Snoopy. I've been a fan of Peanuts since I can remember. I love all the different characters, but none more than Snoopy. I'm not a fanatic collector, just a few stuffed animals, some little statues for the desk and a whole bunch of Christmas ornaments.

The Sea Bird is easily my oldest stuffed animal. He's been with me forever.

The Snake Bank is a little hard to explain. He's sort of a mascot that has changed hands several times over the years. For now he is mine. He shows up in pictures every now and then.

Just got back from game on.

Unfortunately couldn't take any pics inside but plenty of good times where had. Over 125 consoles to play, different platforms, eras.

Probably one of the most interesting thing there. A mock up of the Spacewars console. Check the hardware to run the beast in the next shot. Inside they have the software running with some mocked up hardware. Too fast for me. Very disorientating having to vector with a left & right button plus thrust. Much like Asteroids in flavour and concept.

FGR: Flickr Frustration. My frustration at trying to capture the largest full moon of the year. I really didn't try that hard and I should have tried a little earlier when the moon was really big and near the horizon. Anyway, having a great Saturday, hope yours is too!

My other tribute for the FGR goes out to all the lovely peeps of SITGR and my copycat shot of Jen and this photo . Which has always been one of my faves. I miss seeing her daily work since she completed 365 but her impact is still felt. Thanks to all the members of SITGR. Y'all rock hard core.

i got a lot goin on in this department. it always hits me this time of year, but this year is different. more intense than ever. i questioned, for about 3 seconds, if i should post this or not, and then i remembered that there is no "should" and that this art is my way of dealing and healing. i love my father, but i am having a rough day

Another Roulette assignment. Today: My Flailing Limbs.

Limbs are pretty important, and you don't realize how truly useful they are until you've hurt one. But limbs can be used for more than support, transportation, carrying items, throwing items, hugging, high-five-ing, and making rude gestures :). They can be used for communication (although "rude gestures" could fall under the communication header, too!).

Above I've attempted to show my name spelled in American sign language. Taking a photo of yourself making a "c" is harder than it seems. :)
