Took these shots of my friend Johnny's Challenger and his Dad's GTO a while back.
Beautiful cars, both cars were built/restored by the father and son. You can see the care and love into the cars in the details, they look like they're right off the showroom floor.

The front corner of the '65 GTO has the model on it with the classic round lights. I absolutely love this shot; so emblematic of the era of muscle cars. Seen at the 2010 Toronto autoshow
1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible, at the Hennepin, Illinois Car Show, July 4, 2015. Nice to find one with the hood down, for a change!
I can only tell a 1966 GTO from a 1967 by looking at the taillights, which I didn't do ... this is one or the other.
OK, figured it out - it's a '67. The chrome strip above the grille doesn't continue across the center like this one on a '66.

This is a 1966 Pontiac GTO on display at the Pontiac Museum in Pontiac, IL. This car was part of the Knafel Pontiac Race Car and is now owned by Merle and Janice Green.
