Little GTO. You're really lookin' fine. Three deuces and a four-speed ... and a 389! Listen to her taching up now. Listen to her whine. Come on and turn it on, wind it up, blow it out ... Gee Tee O!

Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick was a farmer and drag racer from Morrison, Illinois, who ran a string of very fast Pontiacs through the sixties. This is his famous X/S '66 GTO. To compete with the new breed of funny cars in SS class, Arnie got a pre-production GTO from GM, had a mold pulled from the body, and built this hybrid. Beswick wanted the car to look as stock as possible, so the body was stretched a bit at the front but not too much, and instead of a full flip up body only the front clip opened. A tube frame was attached to the stock GTO item, the engine and driver moved back, and presto, a fast, reasonably stock looking racing car!

Not an original Royal Bobcat car.

This is the car I wanted when I was 16 years old. Well, they didn't have a "dub edition" back then, but it was the coolest car in my mind. I bought this for my son a couple years ago so he could see what a cool car really looks like. I was just setting up my lighting and decided to get a shot of this model for fun. Enjoy!

My "sister's" GTO--1964, built in November of 1963 (so it was one of the 'first' muscle cars) with the 389 V8. My brother-in-law has had this car in pieces for more than 20 years and finally got it all back together. Very nice.

My favorite car that is not a 62 thru 67 Corvette. I love the '66 and '67 GTO models.
