Piper had that perfect star wars look. She could easily be some smuggler or do other fun stuff.

The crazy consists on the former Chicago and North Western after the Union Pacific takeover brought many opportunities to document the good stuff.

CNW SD50 7002 led a UP SD40-2, a GECX Super 7 and a CNW SD60 under stormy clouds on Independence Day 1995.

Okay, so this is going to be one of those stories.

Perhaps you have wondered where has dreamscapes been? I could only wish to tell you that it was in some exotic location capturing a beautiful sunset or sunrise. Of course that would be the furtherest from the truth right now.

Last weeks adventure included a half weeks stay in a cardiac unit of a local hospital and a angiogram. Oh boy!

It turns out my heart is just fine, thank you. You see the week before, I started having bad dizzy spells, and couldn't catch my breath. Chest pains...you know all the fun stuff, that just doesn't sound good. You go into an emergency room with those symptoms...well you know where your going to be. In any case after all that, (and let me tell that test wasn't just that much fun). It turns out my heart is not only fine...but great!

The only thing they can figure is now, that it has to be something breathing related. More tests to follow of course.

But I am out of the hospital...thank god!

Hospitals are no place to be sick in...lol.

They now feel I may have asthma and or a bad lung infection from a bad cold and cough thing I had just got over...combined with my getting overheated and dehydrated. Scarey!

I do feel a bit better, breathing a bit easier now. However this high heat and humidity makes it impossible for me to be outdoors for any length of time. That totally stinks. I hate being inside. I am totally being medicated too. Good grief. Looks like I knocked over a pharamcy or something.

In any case...please excuse my absense my friends. I will try and visit as much as I can. I get tired easily right now. Hopefully these killer anitobitcs should help knock this thing down.

So go out and shoot a beautiful landscape, seascape, city scene, mountain scene....just let me imagine myself there for a moment.

This is a commission of the Oshkosh M-ATV I had made by Tyler/legohaulic. I must say he did a fantastic job on it, and I could not be more happy! Im quite happy with the scaling, while it may be just slightly larger than other military vehicles (My tree might be a little small)it is quite remarkable for Lego. I know Tyler only had one photograph posted of the M-ATV, so if you guys would like any other angles posted, I can oblige.

Thanks,

-Pexus.

[More fun stuff coming soon!]

A lil different wing position with wings forward, I have noticed stopping the wings is pretty reliable at 1/4000th on a full backbeat or full front beat, that moment they switch direction. anywhere between creates blur, which I like as well as it's indicative of motion. These guys are addictive to photograph...Fun stuff!

The Library was having a half-term children's day today. Most of the activity seemed a bit unrelated to books, but there were a few who seemed totally absorbed.

Ronda sent some things to help with my lack of red things for the blue and red kitchen I'm working on. Also a Kitchen Littles toaster and blender, red and blue rick rack, fabric and another pair of the blue and pink Re-ment shoes so now Lily has a pair of each : ) Thank you so much dear friend!

This is a f***en fantastic song... Torpey's polyrythmic drumming, Billy (Hendrix of Bassplayers) Sheehan's monster playing, it is all just so good... turn it up and shake your fanny-butt! 'Take Cover' - Mr. Big (live at Budokan)

Sunset at Beacons Beach in Encinitas, CA

ok... getting to some really fun stuff now... this was a useful page to do as it has forced me to find some of this stuff (my study/studio is in sewing room havoc mode at the moment..) I also filled my wonderful Visconti travelling ink pot and extra ink supply (really I do not need that much ink... the same quantity did me for 11 weeks last year... this trip is a mere 3 weeks!!! though the noodlers flexs is going through ink at an alarming rate!)

Haven't fully decided or rationalised this yet... but a few extra things have appeared from last year(such as the glycerine to keep paint moist and a palette knife to prevent drilling holes and ruining my paint brush)...but I plan to avoid having to top-up on art supplies this time.

Have fun trying to decipher my scribbles - please ask questions or compare with the complete listing last year here

Part of a very portable “analogue sound and recording setup” I used in colleges to teach some of the rudiments.

There's enough fun stuff going on here I'm posting another few angles.

Project 2020/366 - Day 002: CurbCrap - WarmStream Vaporizer

Today's daily 366 offering is an addition to the CurbCrap series. CurbCrap is a conceptual project to chronicle the wide array of fun stuff people leave on the curb for haul-away. This particular Crap was spotted in a tree box on T Street NW. I crouched down at ground level and framed this one, waiting for a passing pedestrian. Sometimes the interaction of the pedestrian, the photographer, and the Crap can yield some interesting results.

A CurbCrap can be any junk, gear, toss-outs, free-cycles, and other detritus left on the street or curb for others to take home. The rules of CurbCrap are ...

1. As a photographer, you may not touch a Crap. Apply the rules of golf: play it as it lays.

2. The Crap must be in its natural state; e.g. the street, the sidewalk, etc.

3, You may not set out your own Crap. It must be a genuine find.

4. It must be a CurbCrap and not a TrueCrap.

5. A CurbCap is something you might consider bringing home and, if your domestic partner allows it, putting in your living room.

6. A TrueCrap is something you would send straight in the trash.

Bonus points are awarded for --

1. Creative framing

2. Passing pedestrians

3. Unusual, eclectic, or impossibly large Craps.

Of course, there are no points, the whole thing is all made up.

Rainy today in the Netherlands. One minute of today’s weather in slow motion, shot with Nikon Z6ii.

Hi Folks, I know most of you must be wondering what happened to me since I have been away for a long time. I had to move to Vancouver BC last month and the move had kept me busy for a while. First, my apologies for not keeping you all informed about this move and then another apology for not keeping track of your awesome work. Now here I am from a new place but still in the Pacific NW region. I will soon catch up with all the fun stuff that I lost in the past 1 month. And I hope you all have been doing good. I have a few emails from you all, I will send replies to them soon. Thanks for your support.

Sailor Jerry was tagged with the name Norman Collins at birth, but he began to distance himself from normalcy when he was 19 (that's why he became a sailor). He traveled around the world, not only getting his first tattoos, but also gaining exposure to the art and imagery of Southeast Asia. This later became a crucial influence when he opened his first tattoo shop in Honolulu's Chinatown, ground zero for swaggering sailors, drunken soldiers and whoever else wasn't afraid to hang around volatile levels of testosterone.

The Honolulu Tattoo district was designed to accommodate a time in men's lives when they drank heavily, paid for women, and imprinted their biceps with pictures solid and resonant enough to last a lifetime. Back then, Chinatown was the only place on the island where a man could get a tattoo, creating fierce competition among the many tattoo parlors.

Roving sailors weren't looking at the nuances of shading and color, they were seeking pictures worth showing off to their buddies back home. Sailor Jerry built his business with bold designs that artfully expressed the mind set of his clientele. When you look at Sailor Jerry's "flash", it's immediately apparent why he spawned the kind of following that made it necessary to begin printing "The Original Sailor Jerry" on all his business cards. This is man stuff. Filled with the grit, romance and heartbreak that drives some men to do what most would not. There's a tension about port cities filled with men who consider themselves on a mission to have a good time and return with evidence of such. And it's drawn into all of Sailor Jerry's tattoos. Keep your eyes out for his work, not in galleries, but in bars and on the street. If you find yourself strangely captivated by the girl on an old man's arm, we suggest you go ahead and offer to buy the guy a drink of Sailor Jerry Navy Rum. Hopefully, he'll be so impressed with your taste in rum, he won't punch you out and maybe he'll tell you some stories.

Here is some of the tattoo flashes done by Sailor Jerry. To see more Sailor Jerry’s stuff you can go to www.sailorjerry.com Enjoy…

These pumpkins were all lined up at a local shopping mall store. I liked the way they looked; took other photos, but this one was somewhat different.

My daughter is the Harry Potter fan but I enjoyed seeing this park too. My favorite stop was this shop so I posted the pictures of the interior. Lots of weird and fun stuff. I only took photos of this area which is London. The second park is Hogwart's and I was tired. This trip was a 31st birthday gift for my daughter and she said it was a dream come true! Never mind how much it cost us!
