Processing is fun

Jasper was quite excited when I told him we were going to do some action shots this week. We had loads of fun with the OddBall, frisbee, ChuckIt and other fun stuff. 52 Weeks for Dogs Catch Challenge

"quick quick! A sandstorm is is on it's way." shouted the navigator in a panic.

"But he said he would meet us here." answered the pilot. " he must have been delayed. Damn, my watch is stopped. This infernal desert!!"

Fun Stuff:

one of my monikers is "the dune mouse". (on blog). Where I came up with that name is another story. I didn't know then that there was a connection other than my travels.

Doing a dna test some time ago I discovered I was distantly related (very distant- lol) to an ancient Egyptian mummy whose dna was also tested to have identical snp's as mine! - or so they said. People really got around in those days!!

Well, I had to google how to do this and it Looked easy enough, but in reality was truly challenging. Fun stuff! :)

Went for a little walk this morning. Luckily I brought my camera along! It was slightly strange and unexpected conditions! The sky was almost overcast yet the sun was bursting through and then there was some light mist! Fun stuff!

I hope everyone has had a peaceful holiday!

Macro in the Summer Rain.

Me ever getting into this is sooooooooooooo out of reach

My thanks to all of you who stop, look and comment. I will be sure to check out your photostream

Lots of incoming waterfowl for us now. I love these wigeons and their little squeaky calls. If you happened to notice the low POV, camera lens on the tripod collar foot, on the ground, using the camera's articulating LCD from a "squat" position. Fun stuff.

To get crafting with in the summer hols

..eh, this is what happens when you're up at 3am listening to Pretty. Odd. like an obsessive. o__o (Hence the title.)

Pretty much proves that I fail at both perspective AND lighting.

But ohwell. Other things to do, like math homework due tomorrow.. fun stuff. -__-

My son and I went searching for coal along the tracks this morning. He wants to build a forge and make a railroad spike knife. We got rained on a little but walking the tracks brought back some good memories from my younger days. We used those tracks to go hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles...all kinds of fun stuff.

Had this on Repeat whilst making this pic. Fun stuff but very challenging haha!

I really love the views you get from up here. The Pacific Medical building all crazy lit for the Seahawks at that time. Fun stuff. Hope all is well with you =) Happy Friday! Anyone else getting upload errors?

Many - many thanks for the Favs and Comments - they are very kind - It really was a hard theme this week HMM

Out of the Box Shooting.

I just upgraded my on1 software the other day. They have a lot of really nice new filters & presets. It's based around using RAW image data (my old version was right before they went to RAW). I normally sure photoshop but over the years do use some of the resources in on1 as they are actually available to you while in photoshop. the bad thing is you can't work 32bit or anything but then again - my upgrade is so new I have to check this aspect out also...maybe something has changed. I am used to using work-arounds for stuff like this anyway and would save out a file to go through on1, adding back to the 32 bit layers etc.

This is a f***en fantastic song... Torpey's polyrythmic drumming, Billy (Hendrix of Bassplayers) Sheehan's monster playing, it is all just so good... turn it up and shake your fanny-butt! 'Take Cover' - Mr. Big (live at Budokan)

Inside the gardens is the plant nursery, cafe and shop with lots if fun stuff to buy after one has looked at the extensive and award-winning , beautiful garden.

"There are 5 clearly defined areas within the gardens, a perennial border, designed to display colour from Spring to Autumn, a silver birch forest, an edible garden of generous proportions, a parterre garden and a number of display gardens. The formal parterre garden is built along 17th century design principles". www.alowyngardens.com.au/

I've been cleaning my worktable and made a cute little area of fun stuff : )

I went back home to Brunswick for my holiday break from school. I stayed up all night on Christmas Eve playing around with my new midi keyboard controller and Reason 4.0 (great sequencing program if any of you are familiar with that kind of stuff). You pretty much have thousands of different samples of instruments, pianos, drums, and crazy electronic sounds all at your fingertips. Fun stuff. 6am rolled around fast, so I decided to drive to the beach to see the Christmas morning sunrise.

Still getting back with some of you, so sorry.

This is my first upload of the new year…so…Happy New Year to all of you.
