This is a controller card for a hand held scanner. Unfortunately, I did not also get the scanner itself, and as far as I can tell, the scanner is not widely available, so the card is largely useless at this point.
This hydrangea plant was on its last leg last fall after getting way too much sun and not enough water over the summer. It has officially rebounded. The yellow flowers in the background are Stella lilies.
The horizontal stabilizer is almost 12 feet long and the connection to the tailcone is a very narrow section at the center. This makes for quite a long lever arm and the spar must be able to withstand some serious forces. In the center, between the spar, caps, and doubler, there's well over a quarter inch of aluminum.

A Black Fronted Tern (tarapiroe, sterna albostriata) with what I initially thought was a fish but this image disputes that. Not sure what it is but think it might be a skink. Any ideas?
