Front of the Boston Avenue Methodist Church at 1301 South Boston Avenue in Tulsa Oklahoma. It was built in 1929 for a 1,943 member congregation. The tower is 258 feet high.
National Register #78002270. Added in 1978.

The Dark-fronted Babbler (Rhopocichla atriceps) is an Old World babbler found in the Western Ghats of India and the forests of Sri Lanka.
One of the very difficult to shoot bird, very rarely they perch in open.They are tiny chestnut brown birds with a dark black cap, a whitish underside and pale yellow iris. They forage in flocks in the undergrowth of forests constantly making calls and uttering alarm calls when disturbed.
I played at the 2014 Earth Angels Super Cruise-In last weekend - had some down time, so I of course took a few photos. I don't really know anything about these cars, so if anyone wants to chime in with more details, identification, etc., please feel free!
This is my little guy, Pee Wee. I tried sneaking up on him while he was napping on the ottoman; I shot this from my hip since he usually gets up to sniff at me whenever I have the camera in front of my face. I got lucky with the focus.
I'm really hyped on this. First fisheye rail photo, damn first skate shot in awhile as well. Front board over the knob at the end of the rail.
The iris season is almost over. Soon we'll be showcasing the daylilies.
