Yay! I make the front page.
Much as the changes to Flickr frustrate me and mean that I spend less time on the website than I used to. I am deeply grateful to Flickr for encouraging my interest in photography. If it wasn't for Flickr, I wouldn't have photographed the orchestra, and wouldn't have made the front page. Its not quite the Pultizer Prize, but it is a personal ambition crossed off the list.

This portrait photo right here is my favorite picture of the whole assignment for photographing mini-scale portraits of this Clarion University bear I used. I love how the sun was shining through my blinds on my windows onto the bear. In this case, the sun lit up the entire bear in the brightness of the natural lighting from outside. I love seeing all the leading lines present throughout this photograph from the sun and leaving shadows in different spots throughout this image. The yellow background in my room fits perfectly with using a custom white balance and being complementary to the blue on the bear's shirt.
Test fit. My dad helped me with the first few holes, then I did the rest. My dumbass put two holes in my radiator in the process. All that's left is welding the t-bar(which my dad is gonna do when the sun comes out), wiring up all the lights, finding a long enough hood latch and then bolting on the bumper. I'm probably gonna sand the bumper and the rest of the front though. Within the month I'm gonna fill my antenna, patch up my roof, and get a basic paint job.

Garden on front lawn, eventually to be a rock garden, but currently "holding" a few other plants until appropriate beds are ready for them. Still needs some more plants and stone mulch.
There's a bog garden towards the kiddie slide - hard to tell exactly where it is, as it blends in with the rest of the dirt.
