my sister just spent her Easterbreak with us. She takes as many pics as I do- so we had a friendly competition going on. It is fun to share the same hobby.
Now it is back to normal- no visitors for a few weeks- Flickr- here I come!

This little robin is totally at ease with me pottering around my garden. I think he sees me as his personal food finder!
This cat came and sat with us on a warm October evening a few weeks back. He even had a little wander round our house.
I have since toned down the sepia on this, but can't replace it coz I don't have a pro account so we're stuck with it!
Taken with a Pentax MG and 55mm f/1.8 lens on Ilford HP5 Plus 400 black and white film.
I've since realised that I've gone waaayyyyy over the top with the sepia effect on this one. It's a shame I can't update the image without signing up for pro...

This one is for my friend, Monica. This bold little fellow is one of very few birds who have actually posed for me. The quality of these photos is fairly poor, as they were taken in a fairly dark part of the woods and I hadn't yet figured out how to operate my camera manually. Still, I like this shot.

Theodore and Isadora went all the way to Spain today in order to visit their friend Mr Cheese, with his Mummy Mlle Mathilde.
I don't really know why ~ but I have a suspicion that they are planning something together slightly, shall we say "Christmas Oriented."
I know robins are very common where I am but this was an opportunity to photograph one much closer than usual. I still took this shot at 600mm to get the small bird to fill the frame. I first noticed the bird when it was about 10 metres away but it didn't seem to mind me being there and came and perched on a large granite boulder which you can see at the bottom of the frame.
This picture is completely unedited to show the subject as I saw it.
