This was a fairly young one but really friendly. Born during one of the lockdowns so not really used to visitors but followed us up and down the fence and also pecked at the camera lens hoods where he left his slobber marks lol

My husband and I took our first walk around a local park since moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma last spring. We met the most friendly squirrel.

Stopped by a farm in Upstate New York. This horse wearing a halter walked toward me, allowing me to touch, showing friendliness and kindness. Happy Thanksgiving!
I've discovered that most Thai people like having their picture taken especially if you ask them nicely in Thai. Then you get a bigger smile and a wave because it is so unexpected!
Giant Porcupinefish usually aren't very approachable with divers, but this individual was an exception. It mingled with all the divers in our group and allowed ample time for photographs.
This lovley Hawker let me get in realy close, I even had time to switch to a macro lens, see following images!
Warmed up on my finger, then flew off! Andrena sp I think!

This little good girl followed me around when I was out with my camera till I took a picture of her.. she insisted. Least I can do is dedicate my ‘picture a day’ to her.
Out and about one day not far from home, yet in the higher elevations, we heard a distinct call "tschick-adee" repeatedly. About the same time, we saw some flighty movement getting closer and closer to us. Eventually, we encountered the quite adorable juniper titmouse. Interestingly, this titmouse species was differentiated from the Plain titmouse (into Juniper and Oak) reflecting their distict habitat where they reside. Though I had never seen one before (that I'm aware of), I just knew what it was by its cute crest on its head. It was quite curious about us and posed for some time for me. :-)
While I've been a bit envious of my friends still living in FL with their images recently being shared of SHC colt babies, roseate spoonbills, and easier access burrowing owls, I have to remind myself of species like this that call Colorado home. So darned cute as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks for stopping by to view. Happy weekend to all.
