An oil train rolls through Franklin Park as the sun sets.

This new overpass at Kent, MN has been in place for a while, but this is my first chance to get a picture of a train from it. Fortunately, this southbound crude oil train had to wait for a meet at Wolverton, allowing the sun to rise far enough through the smokey haze and provide decent light to the scene.

The light dusting of snow higher up the hills hints at the temperatures today, but with 40mph wind gusts as well the wind chill made this easily the coldest shot I've taken over the winter. Just as well I had a nice walk back home to warm me up!
