During the blue hour, quietly hoped that he would succeed in making this image. The light was just in balance between day and night and then this train came running towards Brennero.

Arizona & California’s eastbound freight crosses a low trestle at milepost 152 at Sablon, California, on March 16, 2004. Powering the train are two of ARZC’s SD40-2Ms, Nos. 4002 and 4003, rebuilt from EMD SD45 and SD45-2 locomotives respectively.
BNSF H-BARSDG1-26A rolls along Torrey Pines State Beach and the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Del Mar, California. Daylight freight isn't on the regular schedule on this absurdly busy single-track commuter railroad. However, delays and recrews periodically will force the dispatchers to squeeze the "BarDiego" through in between all of the Amtrak, Metrolink, and Coaster traffic. Even during summer high sun, seeing this freight snake its way along the Coast is a wonderful sight.
