***** Thank you very much for your view, comment and fave
I invite you to visit all my photo-gallery. Thanks
For FlickrFriday all four elements together, Earth, Fire, Air and Water. If you look carefully, you can see the air blinking around the fire.
The "fifth element" (delicious sausages and sweet corns) was in the bag behind the camera. Don't worry, the fire was smartly exploited and extinguished after grilling.
Have a nice day and thank you for visiting!
Macro Mondays-The Four Elements.
I chose water. It's been foggy and wet here most of the day. This is the little bolt holding the blades on my Copper Kinetic Wind Spinner that's in my Herb Garden.
Our contribution to this week's theme "four elements". We chose "air" as this time of the year all fields are packed with dandelions with their seeds flying in the wind.
HMM!
A taper candle immersed in a liquer glass filled to the brim with water, with a little dish washing liquid added to make bubbles, all inside a blue plastic washing tub. No earth. Liquer glass is 2 inches across.
For Macro Mondays' "Four Elements" theme.
air: represented by the wind blowing my flame
fire: the flame
water: spray
earth: the soil supporting my candle (just seen)
This is a tiny blue paper boat floating in an old wine glass filled with mineral water, lit by late afternoon sun - dedicated to and thinking of the situation in the Mediterranean Sea where people are left alone dying.
Water from the kitchen tap bounced off the back of a spoon. I love the abstract shapes created by this. Here's my favourite for Macro Mondays 'Four Elements' theme.
I think I have four elements here: Earth (humus, dirt from a planter), Water (tap water in a pan), Air (bubbles), and Fire (burning alcohol). Dirt infused with Everclear 151 in frying pan with water and saliva, ignited. For #MacroMondays #FourElements (Subject is ~1.75" or 4.5 cm wide at the base, shot at roughly 1:1.6x magnification.)
Yesterday the idea was to catch sunrise at the beach but I was running late so this boat ramp area which was about 10 minutes away was were I ended up for sunrise shoot. My husband spotted this night heron right away so I got this shot and a closer one from another angle.
Three elements are conjugated in the manufacture of glass: Earth silica sand (SiO2), sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) and limestone (CaCO3), Fire (to melt silica sand, Air (without the presence of oxygen, combustion is not possible) and air is a factor for blown glass, the water takes on the shape of the container.
The element Water created by it flowing over the element Earth (in the form of rocks)
Four Elements for Macro Mondays
An abstract of a flame shot through a water bubble. Fire and Water.
The things I try!.
My first reaction to the task was that ideas would flow but the reality was that I found it quite difficult to come up with something original and that was not beyond my technical abilities. I'm intrigued to discover how others have tackled today's task!.
Many thanks for all views, fav's and comments - all are greatly appreciated! A happy Macro Mondays to you all!

Uma surpresa, ao ver as fotos no "note" me deparei com esta, o desfoque e a distorção de luz provocou esse efeito.
Fiz uma leve edição.

From a fiery birth 500,000 years ago, Three Fingered Jack now towers over a lush meadow of fiery colored wildflowers. A shield volcano like the other nearby peaks, this one is more heavily eroded and has a very narrow ridge for a summit. It’s a challenging climb and many have apparently died trying to reach the top. I was content swatting mosquitos in the meadow and exploring the lower elevations with the mountain goats.
