We have lots of this colourful and interestingly shaped plant in one of our flower beds. It's flowering much more this year.

this tree sits proudly on our front lawn... it was here when we bought the house in 1988 and quite large... so now it has be over 45 years old and still gifts us with a beautiful display of pinks!!

A tiny drop of sup is visible around one of the stems.

A drive up to Mt. Coot-tha was another rewarding experience. The flowering Gums caught my eye straight away ! At 'home' amongst 'fellow' Gums. The beauty of Australia.
